Located just TWO blocks to the beach (on the ocean side of Route 1) and a stroll to downtown Bethany Beach's restaurants, shops and Boardwalk, this three-story 5-bedroom, 4-bath (plus two half baths) vacation getaway is a spacious base camp for your next beach adventure. The second floor features the living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, half bathroom and a master suite, while the third level is home to a full bathroom and the three remaining bedrooms, including two additional master suites and a fun kids room (with two sets of bunk beds and lots of movies). Great vacation spaces continue outside too, with two screened porches, two decks and two outdoor showers and a backyard with gas grill. Central air conditioning, well-equipped kitchen, washer, dryer and more.2 TVs, 2 DVDs, Wii, library of books & DVDs, board games, beach chairs, 2 outside showers, gas fireplace, gas grill, foosball, ping pong, Wifi.

Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Rooms are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, home is within walking distance of beach that does not require crossing a major highway (Rte. 1), ample parking, everything just worked for us. We had 7 children with the youngest being 4 and with the fenced back yard, had no concerns. The coffee maker could be replaced because it has a steel carafe and is a awkward to fill with water but it works fine. This is our 2nd consecutive year here - unfortunately, there won't be a 3rd year due to exorbitantly elevated rental cost. But there would be a 3rd consecutive year if it fit my budget.

As far as houses in Bethany Proper are concerned, this house is a bit more affordable than others in town, probably because it is on the corner of Oceanview and Route 1. However, the traffic noise is minimal and the house is well-shielded from the highway. This is the third year we have rented this house, and we appreciate the screened porches, the well-stocked kitchen, and the fact that the trolley drops us off right at the house! Normally, the house is pristine when we take possession. This year that wasn’t the case but we are assured that a better cleaning service will be in place for next year.
