The Freshwater Field Cabin is very private, nestled in a mountain hollow, but only 5 miles from route 29. It is rustic and secluded but comfortable. Enjoy hiking the trails on the property or visiting local attractions. An easy trip to Lynchburg, Charlottesville or Waynesboro.

Cabin was perfect for our weekend family trip. The property was peaceful and picturesque and the cabin was cozy and inviting. Our kids loved the loft bunkbed room and going down to the field to watch the horses.

Great property. My kids loved the horses and walking the fence line path in the misty mountain rain. Host responded very quickly and was very accommodating and friendly. My only suggestion would be a wood burning fire pit (personal preference). The propane fire pit is nice to. Thanks again!
