A few extra instruction in the guest manual, for example heating and hot water instructions along with basic instructions regarding the smart TV

Excellent location with attractive places to visit. Lovely grounds, ideal for an adult relaxation or for children to romp. House has very comfortable bed. Well stocked kitchen. Dining rooms more than adequate and attractive and appropriately equipped lounge. All perfect for a short stay.
Operations for heating are not straightforward. Some old but magnificent garden walls were propped and buttressed…which was a concern for young children.

we liked the beautiful old house which was full of character and it was lovely to sit outside in the large garden
There were problems with the house when we arrived which took up our time during our our first day there, and we had an elderly couple with us who struggled to get up and down the stairs. Also if you have young children, beware of the pond as we had a 2 yar old run into it.
