Nice and quiet. Different from many a place. Tea, coffee, sugar and (unusually) loads of toilet rolls supplied, in addition to the bedding and towels. Wi-Fi worked well (watched a movie on iPad). Local pub (White Hart) is great for dinner and two minutes walk away.
The basement bedroom was windowless and a little airless. The bed is comfortable though.
No hot water late one night.

The location makes accessing (by car) the beaches of Walberswick and Southwold very easy. There is also a nice pub within walking distance.
The basement bedroom is very damp, even with the supplied dehumidifier working hard. The steps to the bedroom are super steep. The kitchen is very, very basic. There are no room fans.
