Coastal Cottage is situated on the island's east end near the State Park.

Amazing location right on the beach with great views and outdoor setup. Minimal crowd on the east end at the beach. The house itself however is in need of some renovations. The bathrooms and kitchen are all a little old, dated, and worn down. Definitely was not cleaned to a basic standard that we expected in the time of COVID. We re-cleaned the house when we arrived after noticing some poorly cleaned areas in the kitchen and bathrooms. The dishwasher popped open mid cycle twice causing some spilled water and despite our call to the management to repair it (on the second day of seven) we never heard from them again. Had to make sure not to run it again unless we were in the house and awake. Also 2 of the four burners on the stove didn't work (not a big deal since we don't cook much on vacation). And don't plan to use all 3 showers at the same because there was never enough hot water. Stay here because of the location and if the price is right otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.
