Pleasant stay during snowy January

Cosy property with everything I needed for my stay. Perfect location, walking distance to town. I'd definitely stay again.

On street parking was tight, I was worried I'd upset the neighbours' as I had to park down the road. I knew that parking was tricky, it worked out fine in the end.

A good stay

The cottage was clean and well presented. It was in a very quiet area which suited us. It was conveniently placed, with shops and the station nearby. Julia left a very informative folder, which was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location. We went by train so no need for parking space but I think you would struggle to find a space on the street if you did have a car. Very clean little cottage and well equipped.

A personal thing but we didn't find the bed very comfortable - sorry! It was very squishy and we found it difficult to sleep - but that may just be us! There are about 3 neighbourhood cats that seem to feel very at home in the garden and came through the windows and doors into the kitchen. We weren't that bothered but some people may have allergies. If we didn't want them in then we closed the windows. In really hot weather that wouldn't be ideal though.

This property is in a perfect location to walk and enjoy all that this Market town has to offer

Exceptionally clean and fully equipped. It was a arm and comfortably and perfectly located fir us as we wanted to be close to family, shops, restaurants and the leisure centre

Being so close to town parking was more challenging however we always found a space nearby

Excellent location and a cosy little cottage.

Machynlleth town centre is only a short walk from the cottage, yet it's very quiet. The cottage is clean, fully equipped, with comfortable sofas and lots of local guide books have been provided. The train station is a 5 minute walk - perfect for visiting the neighbouring coastal towns without the hassle of driving. Highly recommended place!

We couldn’t fault anything about our stay here. Very comfortable, super-clean, cosy and beautifully furnished, with every need met. Lovely private outdoor space. Peaceful central location, too.

This cottage is a little gem, perfectly placed

It is tastefully decorated throughout with a comfortable lounge, nice bedrooms and a well equipped, modern and spacious kitchen. It felt very homely and we were well impressed with it. Accidentally we left behind a couple of items and I would like to thank Julia for letting us know and posting them back. Overall we had a great stay at Bwthyn Gweilch and would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay.

Not a lot really, perhaps a sign to say mind your head above the front door lol!

Not a problem but would have liked a smart TV to be able watch Netflix ect at night when we were relaxing... Free view isn't good for films...

A home from home

The property was clean, uncluttered and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and we had everything we needed. It felt that this was like a second home as the owner had paid a lot of attention to detail.

To be honest there wasn't anything we didn't like. The property was well described and we chose it because of its location and the way it looked in the photos. We were advised that we may not always be able to park outside the property but we always managed to do that.
