Tinah Paris, Champs Elysées

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few steps from the Champs-Élysées and within easy walking distance of many of Paris's main attractions. Room size was good compared to the average hotel room in Paris. The AC in the room was great especially during the heat wave ongoing in Paris. Staff were friendly and responsive.

The only downside was that the Israeli Embassy is located next to the hotel, resulting in a heavy security presence. While the police officers were always polite, we were routinely asked where we were going each time we entered or exited the hotel, which became somewhat inconvenient during our stay. Even upon arrival, we were not permitted to stop in front of the hotel to unload our luggage due to the security measures. The hotel uses a self check-in system. Upon arrival, one of the access codes wasn't working, delaying our check-in by about 5–10 minutes, and another family experienced the same issue. Although we couldn't reach the management by phone, they responded instantly through the Booking.com messaging system and resolved the problem within minutes. The hotel offers luggage storage after check-out, and while the staff were very responsive and helpful, having to use a separate location instead of the hotel itself was somewhat inconvenient. The room was only provided with two large bath towels, with no hand towels or bath mat, which would have been a useful addition. Considering the limited facilities and amenities provided, the room rate felt relatively high compared to other hotels in the area offering similar rates and better overall value.

The negative reviews are really misleading. The location is EXCEPTIONAL, to the right of you within 10 minutes walking distance to the famous Champs Elysées, to to left of you within 20 minutes is the Eiffel Tower. Perfectly functional elevator, or you can take the stairs if you prefer. One of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. Property was spotless throughout & everything in perfect working order. There was an on-site cleaner each morning who couldnt do enough for us. We had no problems with following the very detailed instructions which were sent to us in good time before our check-in. We would stay here again. The hotel address does come up on the uber app so we had no problems getting to the hotel. We would highly recommend staying here.

Would recommend arriving for check-in during daylight hours only due to some lighting issues within the building (we arrived for check-in at 1.30AM). The external signage could also be alot clearer, although the uniformed embassy staff outside were very helpful.

It was crazy to me that there was no water in the rooms, or any water outside that we could get in th “common room”. No closet in the room just a couple hangers
