Are you looking to "sit on the dock of the bay, wasting time", conveniently launch your own watercraft to run up and down the river, or catch fish for your evening dinner? All of this and more can be done from this special place on the Pend Orielle river. Rivers Edge Cabin is perched above the river and surrounded by trees on 3 private acres. Private boat launch (shared with the neighbor) and dock for conveniently loading and parking your watercraft during your stay. Fishing poles available for the fishermen and more! All the modern conveniences to make your stay enjoyable. Fiber Optic WI-FI available.

The location is tucked into a beautiful remote location off of the Pend Oreille River . My kids who are 9 and 11 loved swimming in the river with their life jackets. The water has a little chill to it but once your body got acclimated to the temperature it was fine. The surrounding trees give you privacy and also a fun adventure for the kids. There are two markets one 15 mins north of the cabin and the other about 20 mins south of the cabin. The house is stocked with a little bit of food which is nice if you didn’t bring anything. The kitchen has everything you could need. There’s a bbq outside, fire pit and a shed that has a couple of games (also board games located inside the house as well). We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck, they have a very comfy patio table/chairs. The house has a dvd player and movies but we did not use these as the cabin has a smart tv and we could stream Netflix off of our phones or iPad onto the tv.
The owner Christy is very friendly and super responsive. Made the experience very easy for us. The only negative experience we had with this location was the spotting of a mouse or two (no infestation) inside the cabin. We contacted Christy about this and she was very responsive and is very much on top of this situation. I have no doubts it will be taken care of.
We definitely would return in the future and bring family to enjoy this location with us.

My husband, adult son, brother-in-law, and friend all stayed at the cabin for a week while hunting in the area. They loved all of the small appliances and spices available for cooking, and the outdoor fire pit. The cabin was remote and on a beautiful piece of property. Thank you for offering such a wonderful place to retreat!

Cabin at River’s Edge was something truly special and magical. My fianceé and I arrived to the most wonderful cozy cabin nestled in the trees just above the scenic Pend Oreille river. The first morning there we awoke to a beautiful view of the trees on the opposite side of the river dusted with snow, and Canada Geese honking in the river below. Throughout our stay, they were our constant woodlen neighbors, the sounds of their honking echoing below from the river. In addition, we also saw or heard the occasional Bald Eagle, Loons, and Turkeys.The cabin itself had a very cozy and efficient wood burning stove, and the owners provided enough firewood for the entire vacation. Everything we needed for almost 2 weeks was provided, from kitchen supplies to soft towels and a very comfy king size bed. They even had fishing poles in case you wanted to fish from their own private dock. Something I’ll be doing when we go back in the Spring/Summer.Since it was the holiday season the owners even had a lovely lighted Christmas tree, and some holiday decor to add a festive feeling to the cabin.The owners also were very attentive to our all our needs throughout the entire stay. When we got a few inches of snow, they made sure that we had the road from the cabin out to the highway completely plowed if we needed to get out to the store, and when the power went out for a few hours due to a fallen tree from the snow, they made sure to keep us updated.
