Lovely and would definitely book again- thankyou to the hosts

Was a lovely short get away. Very quiet. Great scenery. Well set out with bbq , table and chairs

The little touches that were left like tea,coffee,sugar, tin foil. As shops are far away and if we needed any thing the owner was at hand. Main bedroom very spacious Single room very cosy and quirky. Great storage

Not having WiFi in the bedrooms, but due to thick walls I don’t think the signal carried. But that’s minor. As it’s a holiday to get away from tech

Luxurious rural bliss…

Beautiful rural location. Amazing views. Very comfortable bed, hot shower and excellent kitchen. The weather was so good we were outside all day and didn’t use the upstairs loft room at all - but would be very cosy for a winter stay.

A beautiful setting in a wonderfully renovated old farm house. We rented the 3 bedroom farmhouse. The house had everything that we needed for a very enjoyable 3 night stay while visiting family nearby. It had a fully stocked kitchen with quite new looking utensils, cookware and appliances. Everything worked perfectly and the upstairs lounge with stone fireplace was amazing, with incredible views across the valley. Managers Amy and Gavin were super to communicate with and very responsive to any questions we had. They really made us feel at home.

Wonderful escape of city life.

Gavin and Amy are very nice and helpful. They always gave us warm greetings every time they see us. The farmhouse is lovely. We love the fire and the sitting area. It's very comfy.

My new favourite place in the UK

Set in a fantastic and quiet location with wonderful views. It is so comfortable and cozy. It rained all day Saturday and we didn't care as we light up the fire and enjoyed the views from the upstairs lounge. We were greeted by a lovely card and gift from our hosts as it is our honeymoon/anniversary. I wish we could stay longer. There are 2 televisions which we haven't touched and a Bluetooth speaker which we have used quite a bit. We haven't had time to just sit, relax and listen to good music enjoying great views of the fells. Hopefully next time we come the weather is nicer and we will go and explore the wonderful countryside. Kitchen is well equipped and very clean. The bath is large and lovely. We will definitely come back.

A refreshing retreat

First, the location - stunning greenery and panoramic views of farmland and fells. It's amazing for stargazing at night. Second, the cottage - it has everything you could (or couldn't) hope for. The kitchen is equipped with crockeries, cutlery and all sorts of cookware, utensils and cleaning stuff. There's a barbecue right on the porch where you can grill some munchies while taking in the sprawling view. The picnic benches in the yard make for lovely alfresco meals. Kettle, coffee maker, sugar, tea, coffee, salt, pepper - you name, they've got it! Third, the hosts were lovely! Warm and welcoming - always around for a chat and more than happy to help the guests. The property was clean and extremely comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We just loved the place! Just a tiny hitch was that the cottage can accommodate up to 5 people but there's just one toilet - so it can get a little busy at times. But it was not a huge inconvenience to be honest :)
