Nestled on the picturesque Yorkshire/Lancashire border in the charming village of Tosside, on the edge of the Forest of Bowland AONB, there is a wealth of stunning walking trails and cycle routes from the doorstep. Stocks Reservoir offers peaceful walks and birdwatching opportunities, along with Gisburn Forest which has great mounting biking routes, as well as the opportunity to see local deer. The local café/bistro is just around the corner, offering a warm welcome and bike hire. Visit the local town of Settle (9 miles) with independent shops selling local produce. Climb to the top of the magnificent Pendle Hill (13 miles), a legendary landmark steeped in history and folklore, or take a scenic train journey on the Settle-Carlisle Railway (8 miles). The market town of Clitheroe with its ancient castle is 11 miles away, the impressive Malham Cove is 13 miles, and Skipton, known as the gateway to the dales is within 17 miles. You can reach many locations by local bus route or via train in Long Preston (5 miles).
