Beautiful lodging with unexpected surprises!

Communication with the host before arrival was easy and fast. The chateau was beautifully decorated. Our room was lovely and cool. The pool was a refreshing way to end the days. Parking was easy, and the breakfast was an enjoyable selection of fruits, cheeses and fresh bakery items. What was a pleasant and unexpected surprise was the village of La Colle-sur-Loup. The main street had a wonderful choice of restaurants and we were there on Bastille Day, so it was so nice to celebrate in a local French village and see their traditions!

Not really worth mentioning, but the traffic around Nice at this time of the year was very hectic. We thought we had planned our trip well, considering the location of our accommodation, but all of our trips took far longer than expected. While this is not the fault of the staff at Le Mas de Alizes, it's worth noting for any travellers planning a 'local' stay outside of Nice during July/August.

Very nice breakfast. Fresh breads and croissants, homemade jams, plenty of coffee and tea, made-to-order eggs. The place was old but completely renovated and very clean. Nice shower.

Place was hard to find. We arrived earlier than expected and nobody was at the property to let us in. Host did not speak English very well so it was hard to communicate over the phone. Had to wait in the car for 30 minutes before the host arrived to open the gate and let us in.

During night, there are not enough street lights around property, so better avoid walking and take you car if you plan to go out in the centre village, which is very chic

Le fait, vu notre âge 76 et 81 ans, de devoir porter et monter quelques marches pour accéder à la chambre, on aurait préféré qu'elle soit de plain pied... Manquait aussi un siège pour poser les bagages..

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de Corinne et la proximité de Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Très bel endroit très propre et super petit déjeuner dans une très belle salle. Merci Corinne et bonne continuation.

Un endroit superbe avec des hôtes formidables et un excellent goût dans la décoration.

La situation au calme et l’accueil de nos hôtes, une grange qui a été rénovée avec beaucoup de savoir faire et un très bon goût. Une piscine superbe, et un repas copieux et succulent, comme le petit déjeuner. Avec une petite surprise de la part des propriétaires dans les chambres. Je peux dire que c'était une des meilleurs nuits de notre voyage.

La salle de bain sans savonnette ni verre à dent Petite chambre avec une seule table de nuit Les extérieurs à finir d’aménager ( nous somme en pleine saison, ça devrait être parfait) Piscine avec une eau très moyenne ( système de filtration un peu juste) Petit déjeuner avec manque de produits salés ( sinon c’était bon en sucré)

Mooie comfortabele kamer, lekker ontbijt, vriendelijke en gastvrije gastvrouw. Rustige locatie

Zwembad beetje gedateerd en tuin wat verwaarloosd. Ligging was nogal ver van de kust (verkeerde inschatting). Straat oprijden was altijd riskant vermits het snelle verkeer op die plek in combinatie met de slechte zichtbaarheid.

Ein sehr schönes Anwesen mit Pool und eine sehr nette Vermieterin. Typisch frz Frühstück. Sehr bequeme Betten, Zimmer sauber.

Der Innenhof, an sich sehr schön, aus meiner Sicht eher trostlos, man könnte so viel daraus machen, auch die Umgebung, auch am Pool, könnte etwas mehr in Schuss gehalten werden [Laub fegen, Spinnweben entfernen]
