Great value and close to everything in southern Kauai including beaches, farms, trains, good food.

Location was great, it was near the baseball tournament we were participating in. Apartment had great resources: parking, access to a fabulous pool, ample towels, cooking tools, etc. Apartment was very comfortable and setup was great. It was the perfect place for our family and they provided coolers, chairs, and umbrella. AC was cool. They provided a lot of extras like games, internet access, TV, blow dryer, etc.

Main complaints were broken electronic key access. After much back and forth we ended up having to use a back-up physical key, which required someone to always be there to open the door. Also, we found an uncleaned coffee machine with coffee grounds still inside. The shower also had an unwelcome surprise, multiple large hairballs stuck all over the walls, some high up. I get how maybe the (blonde) hair was hard to see on the brown tiles, but the cleaners probably should have wiped the walls if they know its a problem. Also a few looked like pubic hairs. Major issue was I suppose more with the maintenance not the apartment itself which was a great value compared to other locations.

The property was in the perfect location in Poipu. Poipu beach just around the corner and plenty of shopping and food spots. The property was spacious and we loved having 3 bathrooms. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to cook. Also having a washer and dryer really came in handy with kids and being able to wash clothes throughout the trip. We would definitely stay here again! Already thinking about our next trip in this condo.

The AC didn’t seem to work but the weather wasn’t as hot because we stayed in the winter months.

A very enjoyable stay! The apartment is large and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious. Everything you need for a pleasant stay was perfect for us. It's a 15-minute walk to Olaza and a 10-minute walk to shops and restaurants. We missed the ice maker and filtered water from the refrigerator, but we understand that for hygiene reasons, this wasn't possible. Communication with the host was impeccable.

The only issue was the AC. Although there are individual units in two bedrooms, they are loud and useless at night.

Perfect stay in Kauai

Beautiful condo. It is very spacious with all the necessary amenities. One of the nicest condos I've stayed in. The grounds are beautiful. The pool and BBQ area was nice. The chairs, umbrella, and beach toys in the garage were a big bonus and made our time at the beach even more special.

Comfortable and relax place

The place is very spacious and clean. It’s located in a very convenient and quiet location . There are shops , restaurants , stores just a few minutes drive. Beaches are short drive . Vacasa is very responsive with our request and questions. Very happy that we stayed here.

The carpet needs to be cleaned badly. Step out of the shower walk across the carpet and your feet were dirty. Many bad spots. The knives need to be able to sharper.

Great location and furnishings, with a small privacy problem.

Location was great. Overall unit was clean and very nicely furnished. Tons of room and excellent place to stay.

The blinds in the master bedroom were broken and wouldn’t close. This significantly limited privacy and didn’t allow for sleeping once the sun came up. Additionally one of the other bedrooms was about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the place. Requested blinds to be fixed and was told they would come by to fix but never did.

location was great. comfort of the unit was similar to one we rented last year. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed to enjoy trips to the beach, to the pool and be comfortable staying in the unit.

we could've used some extra bathroom tissue to backup. otherwise everything was stocked for us.

the unit we stayed in was a good layout, futni were nice but lacked a few essentials like hot pads, foil.

was advised only 24 hours before checking in that the unit above ours was having flooring done from 8-5pm, which was to be completed March 17th it was still on going March 21st. not very relaxing.

Beautiful apartment, very clean, all amenities were there and some very nice touches such as the coffee, granola, macadamia nut chocolates and necklace, all very kind. View of golf course was very nice.

There is no dedicated parking location for this apartment as there was for ALL the other Building 8 apartments, very frustrating!! Carpeting in bedrooms needed restretched, lots of wrinkles in it—a definite trip hazard. The master bedroom suite was upstairs with large bathroom/walk-in shower and private living area; would have much preferred master on main level. Main level bathroom was very small with door to laundry area that would not lock. There is a door entering the laundry room opposite this door, so difficult to have privacy in bathroom. Washing machine worked okay but may need repair—extremely loud like it’s off balance during spin cycle, even with small loads. Vacasa responsiveness was very poor. we called with a question upon arrival and person we talked to was very kind but no follow through with an answer. Original e-mail message from Vacasa said to park in the one guest parking spot for 8G. That worked for a couple days, but then after that another car parked there at least half of the time. We called Vacasa, and again the person was very nice, but absolutely no follow through at all. Ended up parking the car several blocks away—would not recommend 8G or Vacasa for this reason.

A lovely stay in a well-located area with easy access to parts beyond

Great location, close to a very busy shopping center that definitely requires restaurant reservations and early arrival as parking is difficult to impossible at peak times. Easy to get to the main roads to visit Waimea or Princeville. The condo itself is well stocked with all the appliances and accessories to make any type of cooking possible.

The door keypad did not lock the front door when leaving and it was never addressed/ fixed/ replaced / whatever during our week-long stay. We used the lockbox key which was OK. It was very frustrating finding anyone to speak with to address this issue. I counted messages from 7 different phone/text numbers for this property which makes it very confusing as to which one is the *one* to use. The "text us and someone will respond to you" never ever responded, which added to the frustration. A more streamlined approach to communication would be much appreciated. No dedicated parking spot also left one guest spot which was taken a couple of times by other vehicles so we had to drive around to find a place to leave the car. Not a major issue but it was different from all the other condo's situations.

Exceptional

The location was an easy access to restaurants. The coffee, trail mix & chocolates and the card left on the kitchen counter was a thoughtful gesture. Overall, the place was perfect! I would want to go back, and I will definitely recommend the place.

The wifi connection speed was a little slow, but at least it was free and working. The rest were perfect. It was like living in our own rest house with everything there, even little things from garbage bags, detergents, down to kitchen scissors.

it's a dream vacation come true

there's a welcome gift package on the counter that we appreciate so much. the place is so beautiful, modern and clean. it's peaceful and relaxing. it's so nice to have condiments and spices available in the cupboards, there's plenty of cleaning/laundry materials, and water toys/chairs we can borrow. and we were allowed to do late check-out. one of the best places I have stayed in.

only issue is the key to the pool didn't work for us. it's ok. somebody let us in.

Exceptional

Excellent all around! About a half mile walk to the beach, stores,restaurants. Staff was very responsive to small issues like a broken coffee machine(thank you Bianca!). The condo was beautiful, quiet, well appointed. We were a group of 5 adult family members and all of us loved the place.

The neighbor from hell upstairs of 15F SHES ONE OF THOSE NOSE SHE CALLS THE BOARD FOR EVERY LITTLE THING SHES RACIST PERIOD AND 15f has a roach problem the property manager is a joke he disregarded my concerns about the roaches and laughed it off thinking I’m some dumb local beware of the manager
