Spectacular house in gold coast

We stayed at this property for 8 nights. Pros: for the most part, communication was good if we used WhatsApp. 1. This is a great location, away from the energy of Noord and close to Tres Trapi (beach know for early morning sea turtle snorkeling). 2. We loved all the pools we tried on property and the restaurant at the club house is great, with excellent pool cocktails. 3. The larger property felt safe, minus our key issue below. We could not get the upstairs balcony door to lock (key didn’t fit front door btw) 4. There is a dedicated parking place for the rental car (a must for staying off resort on this island!). 5. The supplies were well set up including plenty of ice cube trays! There were 4 beach chairs and a cooler, and plenty of beach towels! The TVs have cable with lots of English programming, but are not smart TVs (sorry, no Netflix!)

The property management left us only one key. The lock is the type that you HAVE to have the key to lock/unlock it, even from the inside. With 3 adults and a teen often with different plans, this unfortunately left the property unlocked a significant portion of time while people were inside sleeping. (Otherwise they would have no way to get out during a fire). We asked for 2 keys and never got a second. The rest are not things we didn’t like so much as “we wish we had known” 1. This appears on an a map to be a short walk to the nearest beach, but it’s not. This is a gated community with only one way in and out, past a guarded gate. The surrounding wall prevents direct access and just to start walking to the beach you have to get out of the complex, which is a fast hike, but then maybe another 30 minutes, this is not feasible in beach attire carrying chairs, cooler, and I imagine corralling my kids when they were younger on the small but often very busy road. 2. Communicate using WhatsApp! We got automated replies through booking.com messaging, but response to requests on the booking.com site took days and was often contradictory. 3. The couch bed is an inflatable mattress. The property curiously did not provide a pump, even when we asked. They did come over one time to inflate it, however, it only stayed inflated for one night at a time. They then instead of leaving us the pump, brought another bed, which our son found uncomfortable and took up precious space. We wished we had bought a pump at the store because I felt bad that he was sleeping on a couch all but one night. 4. Unfortunately there were several little things broken or missing other on top of the security issues with the key and the non lockable door to the balcony. The sink in the master bedroom did not have a stopper, and I lost an expensive earring down the drain.

Beautiful place convenient to everything!! The condo is equipped with everything you could need! You cpuld easily spend a day just relaxing at the condo and floating in the pool. Checkout was so super easy too!!!

Absolutely nothing not to like.

We got no breakfast. comfy bed.

Lights in living room had no light bulbs in them. Down stairs toilet did not flush right , husband said it needs new parts, There were no instructions on TV and no channel guide. Lack of tissues and hair dryer is broken. Toaster smells like something is burning . Grout on stairs is missing in a few steps also. was told there would be beach chairs and was none.
