It could be better.

The Location placed in very beautiful city.

Towels unwashed, the Heating is defect or turned off, the room is very cold, can't sleep without Heating small blankets.

We recommend

Very nice location, close to the highway. Nice house and nice neighborhood. The best part was being woken up by the roosters. We were offered coffee, which was very helpful, especially after 12 hours of traveling. thank youu.

What surprised/amused us most was that the description said there was a TV. Well, there was, but none of the channels worked. We weren't expecting a huge number of channels, but at least there could have been terrestrial TV.

Great location, very welcoming place to stay and children friendly with a big garden with trampoline ! After I left the place I forgot something in the room and Julie permitted me to enter again and searched until I found it!! Really appreciated!

It needs to be made clear that it is a room with no reception or staff.

It was clearly refurbished though some of the building work materials were still visible. It meant the accommodations was at least undamaged.

There was no mention of needing to find keys and to follow text instructions, which I could not do as I was travelling all day and my phone had run out of battery. I cannot find any reference on the Booking.com website that the accommodation has no staff and it is all self service. I had no warning that it was not occupied by anyone and was more AirBnB that Booking.com.

It's the cheapest option all over Belgium, so the price is very good. Free parking and free Wifi available. We got a space in the fridge.

First, we didn't know that multiple people would be accommodated in the same house, so we booked it for three days hoping to have the house for us (or maybe for us and the owner). However, there are three rooms, so in total the property can host 7 people, not including the host. The kitchen and bathroom are shared, but there's only one sink, one shower and two toilets, which can get a little busy at times. We didn't feel like we could roam around freely because there were also other people in the kitchen and the bathroom. Plus, the rooms were not soundproof at all. The owner was often busy with their computer in the kitchen. It's a homestay, so you can't expect hotel standards, but some things in the house should be renewed to make the stay more pleasant: The shower faucet (it's too difficult to turn the knobs when you've got foam on your hands), the shower mat, the dish-washing sponges, the dish cloths, the bed linen (they are not dirty, just old), and the doors (they are old and loud). We had booked a "budget twin room" (Room 3) which has no photo on Booking.com. We later found out that this room is advertised on the homepage as "ideal for 2 children of a family or for one person who likes space". I wonder why the owner didn't mention this in the room description on Booking.com. The property description lists a "terrace" but it was more like a construction site when we were there. Also note that this place is half an hour drive from Antwerp and one hour drive from Brussels in the middle of nowhere, so you need wheels to get there. It would be good to have a signage in front of the house which says "Julie's Place". When we arrived, one of the other guests opened the door, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to enter the property because the host didn't provide a key in the lock box.

Nette Gastgeberin und sauberes günstiges Zimmer. Kleiner Tipp: nehmt euch eine eigene Rolle Toilettenpapier mit.

Es ist sehr hellhörig und am Gang vor den Zimmern ist eine Küchenzeile für alle Gäste. Die Küche wäre eigentlich toll, aber wenn dann eine Familie dort mit Kindern bis 24.00 rumwerkt, ist an Schlaf kaum zu denken. Zudem gab es eine halbe Rolle Toilettenpapier für 4 Gästezimmer ( war ausgebucht -Klo ist am Gang für alle), da kann man sich denken wie schnell dann gar kein Toilettenpapier da ist, was in der früh nicht sehr angenehm war.

A proprietária fica procurando motivos para briga, o ralo da ducha estava entupido, não vimos inundou o quarto, chamamos para pedir algo para limparmos fomos muito mal tratados, ela rapando e jogando água em mim, quando formos sair ela fechou o carro tirando fotos e filmando, pedindo documento como se a gente tivesse a prejudicado, chamei e falei que poderia pagar pela limpeza e mesma nem deu atenção e queria briga, outro hóspede disse ela faz isso com todos, enfim, não deveria estar no site.

En Erg vriendelijk huisvrouw, we hadden aan gegeven tussen 12.00 uur en 13.00 uur aan te komen op bestemming. Was niemand aanwezig, gelukkig konden we bellen en kwam de vrouw er meteen aan, top service! bed was netjes opgemaakt en de badkamer lekker schoon gemaakt. Je hebt een keuken tot je beschikking voor eventueel je ontbijt klaar te maken, zit niet inbegrepen. Kamer was meer dan voldoende ruim, en een verleningsnoer met voldoende stopcontacten om je apparatuur op te laden :).

Wij waren hier voor een voetbal toernooi, en dachten met de taxi te kunnen. Dit bleek nog best en uitdaging, de huisvrouw was zo vriendelijk om ons naar het toernooi te brengen. Dus als je op deze locatie verblijf zorg dat je een auto hebt Ps: dit viel voor ons gelukkig mee, we werden aan alle kanten geholpen. Dus er was niet echt iets wat er tegen viel :)

Le manque de place pour manger, la salle de bain commune et l'insonorisation des chambres. Des que l'autre locataire allait au wc ou ronflait ça nous a réveillé.

De gedeelde badkamer, er was gedoucht door iemand en de vloer was erg nat, ‘s nachts naar het toilet en je voeten droog houden bleek een zinloze exercitie.
