This isnt even something to complain about really, but we found it tricky to find when we reached the woodlands area. But once we did, it was easy park and access.

Relaxing and delightful place to stay. We were unlucky with the weather!

Lovely lodge, beautifully kept. Very communicative and considerate owners. Easy access to walks like Loughrigg Fell and the Langdales.

Access to the lodge from the main road would normally be fine but we found it a bit tricky in very wet weather.

Absolutely fantastic break and want to go back.

The cabin itself was beautiful, the location was stunning, nice and quiet but ideal for travelling around to see a variety of other areas. Great inside and outside space and the hosts had catered for all needs. We were used to camping so usually go prepared but we need not have worried. We had a week of excellent weather so made the most of the patio for meals and late evenings in the sunshine. Down beneath the trees is a swinging hammock where we watched a large deer grazing in the field before it caught sight of us and left. Just heavenly to sit and listen to the birds, enjoy the visiting pair of ducks and a squirrel or two. We would love to go back and stay for a little longer next time to make the most of the drive up from Cornwall!

Sadly the pool hall was closed for the duration of our stay due to mechanical issues which was a bit disappointing as we were really looking forward to making the most of this too especially as it was such a hot week. This is however not an issue that the hosts have any control over it is just a bonus having access to this where their property is located.

Lovely clean cabin comfy beds .Everything there that we needed plus a nice bottle of bubbly on arrival,it was just perfect we will definitely be returning.

Everything. It was so cosy inside the lodge. Everything was spotless and the facilities were exceptional. We cannot wait to go back.

Amazing log cabin in amazing location!

The cabin was just right, rustic feel but with all mod cons. Location was great, near lots of beautiful towns / villages. And locally some beautiful scenery and walks. Hosts were friendly, and so helpful. The guide of recommendations was spot on!

Good break but glad to be in my own bed

Nice cabin but beds very uncomfortable for me anyway I wish people would stop buying cheap memory foam mattresses people like myself with back issues dislike them felt I've not slept for 3 days not the cabins fault but majority of Brita suffer back pain and hate these unforgiving mattress

Couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Clean, comfortable with everything you need provided. Really helpful hosts who have thought of everything! Just remember to bring some pound coins for the electricity!

Great location and well equipped cabin.

On arrival to the cabin it was immaculately clean. It had everything you needed for your stay. The location was great and the cabin itself was set in a garden which was not overlooked by anyone. Ambleside was a short distance away. The welcome bottle of fizz was appreciated too! I would definitely recommend this place and we will be visiting there again soon.
