We've never experienced a rental agency who cancelled bookings repeatedly and left the customer to search again when a lesser property was offered. In three cancellations on the same reservation, it was treated each time as if it were the first time. Even when they cancelled 13 minutes prior to check-in, leaving us to find a new accommodation for that day, it was treated as no big deal. Had I not insisted on speaking to a supervisor TWICE (the first time no request was submitted by the booking agent), no attention would have been given to three cancellations. This was our first Vacasa booking and likely our last. The property was fine, if dated, but there were maintenance issues not being addressed between guests, like a shade falling down from the window held up somewhat by decorative ribbon, vertical blinds missing from the window but stacked in the corner of the living room, a desk that fell apart if touched, paint cans stored near open flame, etc.

I gave 4 stars because of little things. It would have been nice to have salt and pepper, tea, sugar. The condo had an amazing view. Beds were comfortable.

Overall, satisfied with the property. However, upon arrival one kitchen trash can had not been emptied from prior guests. Also, there was no mention of the water issue on the VRBO listing or the check in information emails. Apparently, the tap water is not safe for consumption. There was no water available in the unit for consumption. We arrived late and did not have access to water. The code for the pool house was also not made available which is where the water was. We needed to know prior to arrival so we could have purchased water. The best option would have been a source of water for usage in the unit, even if just a couple water bottles. Is it even legal to rent a unit with no potable water?
