The house was impeccably clean and very comfortable for our family reunion of 6 adults. Communication with owner was prompt and courteous. Beautifully decorated with “homey” atmosphere. We were a bit concerned about the neighborhood (noisy - seems like it’s going through a redevelopment). But all-in-all decent price and very comfortable. I would stay here again!

The home is older and the location was a little concerning. But it was conveniently located to all the places we were going to. Overall, it was clean and nicely decorated and had all the amenities we needed. We especially loved that it had four bedrooms and three baths. Enjoyed working with Robin, our host. She answered my questions and was very kind.

Me and my friends stayed the weekend for a women's conference and just hangout in Waco. This house was great for our group and a great location, close to everywhere we visited. Will stay here again next time we are in Waco. The house was perfect and decorated super cute.

The beds are very comfortable, loved that the home have 3 full bathrooms, with 2 teen boys and 2 teen girls having enough bathrooms is very important. Loved the water pressure on the master bathroom, I was surprised by that since it is an older home, but it was great. We had a great time. If I have to say anything negative it will be that the home can benefit from a water pressure cleaning on the outside and the white chair in the living room had stains that was not very appealing. Overall, great home, and we had a great time there, the large dinning table was great for board and card games, I was happy to get the kids off the video games for a few days.

The house itself was a perfect size for our group. Robin was very accommodating with everything we asked for. However, there was lots of trash and dust under the beds. One of the twin beds upstairs is broken. My granddaughter got locked in the bathroom because the door handle fell off. The noise level at night is pretty high because of the liquor store next door and cars racing down the street. It’s a lovely house on the inside. Many things just need a little quick fix and tightened up.

This house was very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay for the weekend and were very happy with the location as it was a short drive away from everything. The beds were soft and comfortable and the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap in the showers. Towels were great. The bare necesities for cooking in the kitchen were available. Checkout was quick and easy. Definitely recommend for a stay in Waco.

South Haven could not have been better! We had such a fun time together for our post-Christmas reunion. The house was laid out perfectly for our needs & even had a trimmed Christmas tree waiting for us when we arrived. We loved the wrap-around porch, even including a porch swing. Great access to downtown activities & shopping. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Robin, the host was amazing and helpful! The house was very nice! Could have been a little cleaner as there was dust in corners with dust balls wrapped around lamp cords. The location was not great. Next to a dirty convenience store with bars on the windows. The other homes across the street and next door were very dirty with trash and clutter all over the porches. It did not feel like a safe place, especially with kids but we were thankful that the home had a security system.

The layout and amenities of the home were really nice. We enjoyed sitting on the patio. Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen seemed well equipped. The master bed was comfortable. We were glad we brought our traveling noise maker, as the home is on a busy street adjacent to a gas station. We would stay here again.

We rented this home for a girls trip. It was immaculate when we arrived. We stayed for 3 nights. We had everything that we needed and even came home one day to a special delivery of cookies. They were outstanding! The arrival and departure procedures were very easy. I would highly recommend this home if you’re coming to Waco for any reason. The owner, Robin, was wonderful.

The house itself is terrific! It is well-decorated, comfortable, clean, and bright. The owners had the most amazing cookies ready for us upon our arrival, which was such a nice welcome. The beds are super comfortable, too. My only complaint is that the area it is in is not very nice. We did appreciate that it had an alarm that we could set.

Overall it was a good experience. No regrets. But not a neighborhood I’d feel comfortable walking around in, even during the day. Alarm didn’t work. Not sure why. And we saw 2 roaches. House wasn’t dirty, but should probably have bug exterminator come out. Very cute house, well decorated. Just realize the neighborhood is kind of sketchy. But fairly close to the Silos.

Seriously the sweetest and most accommodating host! I have never been in a rental property that was so clean!! The VRBO was just as cute if not cuter in person as it was in the pictures!! My husband liked that the property was armed with a security system for our safety. We liked how close the house was to Magnolia Market, the original Magnolia store on Bosque, grocery stores, etc. We had just enough room to house the people gathering in our family and the beds were very comfortable. The decorating was gorgeous and the house was very clean. We had all the pots, pans, and Tupperware we needed when cooking large dinners. The cookie delivery was a very nice treat! Thank you! One bedroom door on the main level (the room with two full beds) needs some maintenance attention. When closed, it locks and could only be opened from the outside. Please address for the next guests. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in South Hampton!

Absolutely loved this location and well appointed and clean home. Plenty of space, particularly enjoyed 3 bathrooms with 2 rooms on the main floor for seniors. Great location to all of the Silos, Harp Co, Little shop on Bosque. Convenience store next door for ice, water or quick items. Owners were very, very responsive and came right over when we somehow knocked ourselves out of the bedroom. ;) I’ve been coming to Waco for several years and this location and this property are my favorite so far. I pack my earbuds as it is on a busier thoroughfair however it’s a small price to pay for the location. It’s literally minutes to anywhere you want to be. The porch swing is everything as is the soaking tub. The entire house was renovated down to the studs and you will enjoy all of the tasteful design elements. I especially enjoyed the Christmas tree and decorations as we traveled on Christmas week. A must stay! Thanks again for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home.

We stayed for 4 nights in this beautifully renovated home. It was the perfect place to come home to each evening while moving 3 kids into Baylor. The neighborhood was a little concerning at first, but we soon felt very comfortable and safe with the alarm system and after a day, we didn’t even think about it. The host was thorough, efficient and available as needed. I have nothing negative to say and would stay here again in a heartbeat. We actually looked to see if there was availability during Thanksgiving, but it is already booked up.

We had an amazing time in "the big blue house!" We are fitness instructors who rented this house for 3 days while we were in town visiting our REFIT® Headquarters Studio. We fell in love with this horgeous older home & it's natural hardwood floors, the tall windows and it's gorgeous 8 glass-paned pocket doors! The decorating touch made the home complete with solid & floral slate blues with a hint of yellow against clean white walls. The coffee/hot bar was a perfect addition to our group of 10 ladies staying at the house together. We invited 8 other ladies over to help mourn the passing of a fellow instructor. Memories & friendships are sealed forever in this home. The home.owner was WONDERFUL to stop by on a moment's notice to address a minor problem but was quickly taken care of. The homeowner is a kindhearted & professional woman who is eager for you to enjoy her home as much as she does. She (and her sister) have put a lot of time & attention into this home to provide you with the little things as well as the BIG things! All three bathrooms were utilized, the nooks upstairs had mirrors & plugs to use as vanitys and extra hairdryers were found in each bathroom. Homeowner even brought extra linens & towels to accomodate new guests who swapped out rooms. The bottle of wine & cookies left were wonderful! And the chocolates were a hit at the supper we held for our friends. The "Big Blue House" has gone down forever as a perfect yearly friendship meeting spot & is in our books to rent out each year! Thank you Robin for accommodating us, our needs and our stay! We")) certainly be back. I did mark a 4 in stars for neighborhood. The neighborhood is not a high economical area but the streets are safe & the homeowners are all very kind. There is an older little convenience store/1- pump gas station that sells some liquor. It was safe to go in at night and everyone was kind & smiled. But I would still feel best to go in with a friend, not alone. We never felt unsafe or "confined" to a locked house. The house is equipped with an alarm system (we never used it) & there were motion detected lights & camera everywhere outside. So Robin does an amazing job to make you feel safe in case you didn't feel comfortable. But we sat outside on the front porch with our coffee/hot tea, enjoyed our Bible devotions as the sun came up. We only locked doors at night (unless we left), & we didn't close the curtains except as a pretty backdrop for pictures.
