The location was excellent and within walking distance to Namba and Shinsaibashi.

The double bed was very uncomfortable. It appeared that the bed was a base rather than a mattress. The room also had very little space for a family of four.

It was really close to Namba station with multiple train lines so transport was a breeze, and the OCAT bus terminal is also nearby, allowing easy access to the airport bus to-and-from Kansai Airport. Easy walk to Dotonbori but not too close so it's still in a peaceful area. Easy key collection and the host was very responsive via the booking app chat. I had found that the kettle wasn't working on arrival, and the host managed to get us a replacement kettle the day after.

The building itself was quite old and sketchy, and frankly i wasn't confident in using some of the power outlets. The shower was a tiny cubicle near the entrance. If anyone was showering, you couldn't use water anywhere else or the water pressure and temperature for the person showering would drop.

It was incredibly cosy and well equipped. The location was absolutely superb. An easy 10 min stroll to the heart of Dotonbori and a 5 min walk to the JR end of the Namba station. The aircons kept it cool in this really hot weather. The beds were comfy. It’s also got such a character about it being so narrow and long but very functional divided into multiple living zones.

I liked everything as a great value for money.
