Adorable cosy styiish place to stay, really enjoyed it, tent was very cosy and cute

Location was nice, well thought out and stylish. The tent was cute, and the toilets were clean. We had a staff member check in on us and he was lovely - (Tyrone?). He was extremely accommodating and helpful, found us a heater, got us some wood for the fire pit, got us extra bedding (we went in the cold end of September). Initial welcome and contact leading up to us arriving was great.

The showers were part of a larger campsite, were a good 5 mins walk away, and absolutely no idea where they were in the dark. No clear instructions on site to where they were. No heater to start with (didn't know we could even get one) and it was cold. Owner was lovely when she responded to messages, but admitted she missed my message and didn't reply until the next day. I think more clear local facilities and places to go would have been helpful

Nano was the hostess with the mostess!

Loved the host, Nano. She was brilliant at making us feel comfortable. The site is lovely we went for a hen and had a hoot

The lady (staff) was amazing she was more than helpful and such a happy woman. The tent was amazing my kids loved it. Everything we needed. Would highly recommend a stay there.

We loved it!

The location, the atmosphere, fabulous bell tents, very comfortable, coped with inclement weather, clean loos, brilliant access to the lake, convenient parking. It was absolutely lovely.

There was no shower in the bell tent village. We had to walk a long way through the main camp site to access showers. This should be improved.

Peaceful , comfy and quiet under the stars

We booked the Willow tent and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it is. The camp area is well-lit, and the toilets are clean and well-maintained.

We went on a weekday and ended up being the only family there. They really should consider locking the main gate after 10pm, just to give guests some peace of mind.

The tent was lovely and functional and we had a fridge and kettle. The toilets near to the tent were clean and in good repair. The location is lovely.

There was no information about where anything was, providing a map of the site on arrival to show where showers were, what the bbq rules were, where the advertised cafe is. The communal shower I used was not clean. The hen party staying near our tent was doing karaoke late into the night which made it difficult for our children to get to sleep.

Location was excellent, right opposite the National water sports centre. It was quiet, good atmosphere. A lovely place to wake up in the morning and sit outside in the evening. The small seating areas outside each tent were great. It was clear a lot of effort had been made to make the accommodation comfortable and everything clean and in good order.

Lighting in all the bedrooms would be helpful, maybe a fridge rather than a freezer, and some extra outside chairs.

Perfect location for the Ironman. Lovely hosts, very accommodating. Toilet facilities nice and clean.

Double bed not the comfiest, could feel the springs. Pull out bed ok for small child not really suitable for older than 12 I’d say. My 25 year old son struggled. Would have liked a little more lighting round the camp in the evening as the few lights there looked great.

Perfect 👌🏼

The bell tent village is excellent and really well kitted out. We stayed in the apartment tent which was really nicely decorated with comfy beds and thick duvets and a great lounge area. We were attending and even at Nottingham racecourse 3 miles away so perfect location with a short taxi ride. Would 100% stay here again and would recommend to friends.

The size of the apartment tent was exceptional, all our party guests were very impressed and the staff had even had the property hooked up to the electric which we were not expecting so that was a great bonus. Would certainly recommend and book again.

Quality bell tent experience

I loved the way the tent was set up it had everything we needed ❤️ my daughters used the fold out bed and found it very comfortable. It's very weather proof we had a good mixture of sun, wind and rain and it was very cosy. I really love the way the bell tent village is set up and will look to stay again.

The only downside was the shower block being a fair distance away but the showers themselves were really good.

Perfect for my friends hen weekend.

It was clean, very comfortable, a beautifully presented tent. We hadn’t been glamping before so didn’t know what to expect, but we were so impressed - comfy double bed, fold-out sofa bed, warm duvets and plenty of warm covers (not needed as it was a VERY warm night). Electric hook-up, lamp & heater, disposable (eco friendly) bbq, kettle, tea & coffee , washing up bowl, washing up liquid. Clean toilets. Can’t comment on showers as we didn’t use them. Perfect place for a hen night stay.

First night great, second night noisy…

The tent was superb and very comfortable. The owners take great pride in making each of their tents feel like a home away from home.

We had some noisy neighbours. One right next to us who were sat at a BBQ which was right next to where our bed was. The other was a bit further down but they were super noisy after the 10:30pm curfew, to the point where I had to phone and emergency number and get someone down to tell them to shush… ruined our last night to be honest!

Lovely, peaceful location not far from Nottingham City Centre which is easily accessible by public transport. Lovely, clean, comfortable tents and the toilet facilities were clean and close by. Lovely decorative touches and clear check in instructions. will definitely come back.
