AVOID THIS SCAM

Renting this studio is SUCH A SCAM. This is a property within the Pirin Golf & Spa hotel but it's owned and managed by private owners, so you are not really a guest of the hotel and you have to pay additionally to use any of the hotel facilities - spa, pool, gym, etc. For a day in the spa you pay 80 BGN. There is a certain discount you can use but only if the property owners added you officially as their guests. In my case, it was never communicated that access to the hotel facilities is paid additionally. The owners never told me about this discount and never asked me about the other people I travelled with, so that they can be added as guests, too. Thus, only I could use the spa discount. When I asked them why this was, I got no answer. Eventually, we ended up paying double the price of a same-size room in the hotel which includes access to all the facilities. To make things even worse, in response to my complete bewilderment, I got the following comment in the spa center: "Yes, it's not fair you weren't informed but it happens all the time. We don't know why the property owners do this." When I complained at the hotel reception, I was told this was not their problem. Apart from the whole scam, the studio itself is very far from the five-star rating it boasts: - It's so crowded with furniture that there is not space to leave your suitcases. - The shower head was broken and the water was spraying in all directions, so it was a challenge to actually take a shower. - The bathroom sink was leaking and any time we used it, the floor got covered with water. - There was a terribly strong chemical smell in the whole studio coming from some detergents stored in one of the closets. - There is no way to lock the door from the inside, so small kids can easily open it and run out. Overall, it was a VERY disappointing experience.

The apartment was very clean, fresh sheets and towels - everything was planned in every detail for our needs and it is very comfy with all the wooden furniture.

Great stay

Great cosy apartment with all amenities that you might need for both short & long term stays. The hosts were great and the communication with them was perfect. You can park your car outside for free which was very convenient. Overall, we had a great stay.

The mattress was not very comfortable. I would suggest adding a topper (from JYSK for example).

Weekend escape

The location, the facilities the room are awesome

Unfortunately there was heat stroke and the room was really hot without air condition. The most important thing is that these private apartment do not have direct connection with the golf resort so I have been asked to pay 40lv for parking the car in the resort which was ridiculous! There was not communication with the owner to inform about this and this was not mentioned in the booking. At the end the security leave us without payment making a favor.
