The location was great. We very much enjoyed the easy access to explore the Albaicin, and of course the Alhambra is an easy walk away. We also enjoyed the option to find food nearby at night.

The only problem was that not all of the showers worked properly, but we managed!

Very unique, good character. Very fun for my kids.

It is a essentially an older hostel. Not a modern place, very small amount of hot water for a so large a place.

Great location and instructions on how to find it. Wonderful old house with multiple rooms. Appreciated the coffee and toast. Great value for money. Location is fabulous. I flew into Malaga and caught the bus to Granada. Local bus from bus station was €1.40 and so easy. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby and easy to walk to the train station when leaving.

Building works going on, which maybe should have been advised. Work starts about 8am, which is ok for me as I wake early but could not really go back for a rest in the day as works don’t finish until about 5pm. Hopefully temporary and I was given the offer to change rooms a number of times. I didn’t as I was only there 2 nights. Key to premises outside was a bit sticky but worked eventually. I was worried as a solo traveller as on a side street hoping the key would let me in and felt a bit exposed. Felt safe overall though.

The Location, the old building vibe, the squeaky yet comfortable bed, the free basic breakfast, the overal cleanliness(except toilets/shower) and the surf picture 🤙🏼

For 40 euro’s you can’t really complain when you book something in the heart of Granada. Also, I believe that you get what you paid for, but our room was a tiny little room/closet, with only a window to the indoor patio, which is not so cosy; but could be fine for a night. The main issue we faced was that this room was so close to the toilets/showers and also the kitchen; that we either smelled and heard people’s toilet business in detail or heard/smelled what they where consuming. The shared shower is also not really chilled and had no curtain, which means you are expected to mop the floor yourself after you are done to get it dry for the next guest. Also this seems more as a self check-in kinda operation; which is fine; but was not clear upon booking. I think that if you pay a little more or search a little further you kind find something better when you are a couple in this beautiful city. the other rooms btw looked more spacious and airy - this is just for one of the 2 person bedroom.
