Walker Suite No53 - Donnini Apartments

The location was perfect for us as we were competing at Morris Equestrian Centre and it was only a 10-minute drive away. The apartment was clean, spacious and well presented, with thoughtful touches such as washing-up supplies in the kitchen. Overall, it was a comfortable place to stay and had everything we needed.

The arrival instructions could have been clearer as it wasn’t obvious which apartment block we needed. Access to the building was frustrating, as the entrance door/key was unreliable and on several occasions we couldn’t get in until another resident let us in. The apartment could do with some maintenance, including a hole in the wall, damaged bathroom flooring and a missing wardrobe door. The master bed was two single beds pushed together, which wasn’t particularly comfortable, the bedroom window wouldn’t open making the room very warm, and the TV in the living room was quite small.

Good location near the train station, good sized rooms, clean and tidy.

Not enough cutlery and crockery. The house sleeps 4 and yet just 2 mugs, 2 spoons, 3 forks etc. the freezer was frozen solid and no sink for the kitchen basin or washing up bowl!
