Morar Apartments Malasaña

The only thing that could have been better would have been to have the tv in the bedroom rather than the living room and some kitchen scissors.

This apartment really made our stay in Madrid absolutely incredible! Rodolfo is a great host. We got there before check-in, but we were able to leave our luggage with him. The location is awesome!! It’s close to the heart of Chueca, not far from Gran Via, La puerta del Sol and it’s surrounded by lots of restaurant choices. Check the Pancake House for breakfast and Apartaco for lunch or dinner. It’s a delicious Venezuelan restaurant. The apartment itself is a 10 out of 10. We stayed in the apartment towards the end of June and it was so hot outside, but the air-conditioning in the apartment made everything better as soon as we walked in. The apartment has all the amenities you could need. The bathroom was super clean and the shower had great water pressure. The bedding was comfortable. There is even a blackout shutter, that makes getting a good night sleep easy. There was a beautiful mural painted on one of the walls in the living room. Next time I am in Madrid I will 100% book with this company. Muchas gracias!!

Everything was great.

Quiet and central location

Rodolfo gave me a warm welcome. I needed more coffee capsules and he right away offered me 4 more. A big bottle of free wine and water in the fridge. There are capsules for dish washer and cloth washers and paper towels. The door access with app is generally good except one time when it simply wouldn’t work The WiFi is very good The bed is comfortable. The apartment is very quiet. The location is great. There is a Dias supermarket 30 meters away. The communication with the reception by mail and whatsapp was very good.

Old apartment. The tiles in front of the bathroom are warp , chipped and chipped . There are gaps in the files. The condition is terrible. The towel has yellow stains. The picture of the woman on the wall behind the sofa with black tears made me look like she is unhappy and it makes me sad. No instructions on how to operate the convection part of the microwave or how to use the stove top. The fan inside in the bathroom is deafening. The sink inside the bathroom is so small . With the shelf on top of it, I need to poke my head under the shelf to avoid getting on the floor. The sink is smaller than most a big cutting board. The toilet room is small. The shower is strong but there is no light inside the shower stall. There is no light near the sofa . The room is generally on the dark side. A bit depressing on a rainy day. It is expensive for somewhat dilapidated apartment . The fridge door can’t closed without pushing in hard. The dining table and chair are quite high and not suitable for children and anyone short. There is only salt for cooking. The rest you need to provide.
