Beautifully clean and furnished. Really attentive host, quiet despite central Madrid location.

Location was perfect. Super central and easy to get around. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach via WhatsApp. The apartment was a good size.

The description on Booking said that all apartments had a balcony. The penthouse apartments on the 5th floor do not. The shower is in the bedroom, which is awkward. There aren't any hooks or anything in the bedroom to hang your towel for after your shower. The cleaning product and detergent that were used had a very, very strong smell. The overly perfumed smell gave me a terrible headache. I had to wash all the bedding the next morning so that I would be comfortable in the apartment. Finally, while the apartment was a good size, without the balcony, the cost did not meet the value for me.

Rodolfo gave me a warm welcome. I needed more coffee capsules and he right away offered me 4 more. A big bottle of free wine and water in the fridge. There are capsules for dish washer and cloth washers and paper towels. The door access with app is generally good except one time when it simply wouldn’t work The WiFi is very good The bed is comfortable. The apartment is very quiet. The location is great. There is a Dias supermarket 30 meters away. The communication with the reception by mail and whatsapp was very good.

Old apartment. The tiles in front of the bathroom are warp , chipped and chipped . There are gaps in the files. The condition is terrible. The towel has yellow stains. The picture of the woman on the wall behind the sofa with black tears made me look like she is unhappy and it makes me sad. No instructions on how to operate the convection part of the microwave or how to use the stove top. The fan inside in the bathroom is deafening. The sink inside the bathroom is so small . With the shelf on top of it, I need to poke my head under the shelf to avoid getting on the floor. The sink is smaller than most a big cutting board. The toilet room is small. The shower is strong but there is no light inside the shower stall. There is no light near the sofa . The room is generally on the dark side. A bit depressing on a rainy day. It is expensive for somewhat dilapidated apartment . The fridge door can’t closed without pushing in hard. The dining table and chair are quite high and not suitable for children and anyone short. There is only salt for cooking. The rest you need to provide.
