About this house rental
Located in an agricultural area, this house underwent a complete renovation in 2020, transforming it into a contemporary property with above-average materials and an architectural intervention of excellence. Privileging natural light, the entire interior offers comfort, but you will most likely want to be outside all the time. Surrounded by the sea and mountains, the leisure area features a swimming pool, jacuzzi, barbecue, lawn, and solar panels.
With two bedrooms on the 1st floor, both with double beds, and a sofa bed, this property accommodates a maximum of 6 adults. It has three bathrooms, including a service bathroom on the first floor.
AREA
The site of Maloeira, in Fajã da Ovelha, offers peace and quiet. The country air is perfect for releasing stress and enjoying moments of calm and peace, in a kind of city 'reset'. With great sun exposure all year round, the municipality of Calheta is also inviting for discovering the island of Madeira. About 20 minutes by car brings you to the center of Calheta, where you will find the yellow sandy beach, several restaurants, a supermarket, and the fantastic Museum of Contemporary Art. Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar are about 10 minutes away by car, each offering their own beach, entertainment, and beauty. About 200 meters from the house, there is a small grocery store with fresh produce.
PROPERTY RULES
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.
The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property.
In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes.
Municipal tourist tax (when applicable):
€2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival.
Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability.
Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge.
By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions.
OTHER NOTES
All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.

A fantastic villa with amazing views. The log fire kept us warm on the chillier evenings. There was no air conditioning, but it wasn’t needed in February.
The kitchen was well equipped and the outside log bbq was great for barbecuing.
Sitting in the hot tub of an evening watching the stars was a highlight.

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich vorstellen kann. Whirlpool und Pool super.
Da es sich um zwei Schlafzimmer und eine Schlafcouch handelt, würden wir die Unterkunft eher für 4 Personen empfehlen als für 6.
