Location
This vacation home is located in the small village of Boda Glasbruk in the Småland region of southern Sweden. Directly across the street is a playground with several pieces of play equipment. Just about 100 meters away is the “Glass Factory,” an exhibition of handmade glassworks. The nearest lake with a swimming area is about 800 meters away.
The Vacation Home
The vacation home has a living area of approximately 115 m² spread over two floors. The house can accommodate up to 6 people plus a pet. Upon entering the vacation home, you’ll find yourself in a hallway with a coat closet. To the left is the first bedroom, furnished with a double bed. Straight ahead is a small living room with a leather sofa and additional seating. This small living room leads directly into the second living room, which features a sofa, an armchair, and a TV with German channels. Heading back down the hallway, turn left into the kitchen and dining area with a dining table, passing the bathroom with a shower and toilet along the way. The kitchen is equipped with all standard kitchen utensils, including a dishwasher and a 4-burner ceramic cooktop. The stairs in the hallway lead to the upper floor, which has two additional bedrooms and a guest restroom. The second bedroom has a double bed, and the third bedroom is furnished with two single beds. There are seating areas with patio furniture next to and in front of the vacation home. A washing machine and a clothes dryer are located in the basement of the house.
The Surroundings
You’ll find shopping in the towns of Nybro (approx. 18 km) and Emmaboda (approx. 21 km). Fishing opportunities are available at Elchpark-Nybro and in the neighboring town of Broakulla.
(During the summer months, the café diagonally across from the vacation home is open!)
The lake with a swimming area is about 800 meters away.
The “Glass Factory” is only about 100 meters away. There you’ll find an exhibition and a shop. Among other things, children can try their hand at glassblowing!
The “Glasrikets Älgpark” moose park near Nybro is only about 10 kilometers away!
The price for electricity used is 0.40 euros per kWh and is paid in cash on site.

Nice house and surroundings very quiet with some nice neighbors the beds were made when we arrived and there was a gift for us big thanks to reiner and Iris for a nice stay:)

Das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man zum wohnen braucht und noch vieles mehr. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich. Uns hat ein tolles Willkommensgeschenk erwartet. Unsere Tochter hatte große Freude an den vorhandenen Spielsachen. Die Lage direkt am Spielplatz war für uns ideal.
Der See im Ort mit Kleinkindschaukel und Badestelle war sehr schön.
Wir hätten uns noch gewünscht, das die Dusche sauberer gewesen wäre und nicht ganz so viel Dekoration im Haus steht. Die Weihnachtsdeko im Juni war etwas fragwürdig. Doch an sich ist das Haus sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner im Keller waren super und wurden von uns oft genutzt.

Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und einem Kind (10 J) für zwei Wochen dort.
Das Haus ist vollständig eingerichtet, so dass man gleich "loswohnen" kann: Spüli, Klopapier, Kaffeefilter waren da und der Willkommensgruß enthielt u.a. ein Päckchen Kaffee. Perfekt!
Der Fernseher hat praktischerweise ein eingebautes DVD-Laufwerk.
Sehr praktisch sind auch Waschmaschine und Trockner: da braucht man gleich weniger Wäsche mitzunehmen.
Die Einrichtung ist nicht mehr ganz neu, aber sauber und gemütlich. Ordentliches Bettzeug wird gestellt und die Matratzen waren einwandfrei.
Im Garten kann man schön sitzen und auch zu viert essen. Die Stachelbeeren und Johannisbeeren sind sehr lecker!
Der Ort Boda Glasbruk hatte schon bessere Zeiten, ist aber zentral gelegen, so dass man schnell auch in Kalmar/Öland und Växjö ist. Leider ist kein größerer Supermarkt in der Nähe, erst in Nybro oder Emmaboda. Dafür ist ein kleiner See im Ort, so dass eine schnelle Abkühlung möglich ist.
Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Vermieter als sehr fürsorglich erlebt.
