Lack of feeling about privacy and security. Cabin is connected to other home, door way just covered with curtains and furniture. Also needs a deep cleaning. Location was nice, and host seemed friendly.

The property owner was courteous and helpful. The "cabin" itself could use some cleaning and maintenance. The shower curtain was covered in mold and there were still crumbs on the table from the previous guest, not too mention the thick layer of dust on the hodge podge of decorations. What shocked us the most was finding a blockade of furniture and curtains with swinging doors that connected the "cabin" to the rest of the house. It did not instill a high sense of security.

We had a great time at the cabin. It easy to get to family friendly and pet friendly. Plenty of room for everyone. It is located to anything you need to do and when we go back to visit family we will stay there again.

We were looking for a place to unwind and relax for the weekend. It was perfect! Rob was the penultimate host. Rob even made us breakfast the morning before we left. The wildlife in the area is great to watch as well. We will definitely be staying again if we are in the area.

We liked the cabin and the roominess of it. The location is very good except for the narrow road that leads to it.

The area and cabin is very pretty. Convenient location for activities in Marietta and Parkersburg but feels like you are far in the country. I wish it had been more apparent in the photos that the cabin is actually a connected part of the owners. We were under the impression it was removed but the host was great.house

I was looking for a place for my dad, his dog and I to stay for 5 days. I knew we probably wouldn't be too comfortable in a hotel for that long, so I came across this cabin. I figured my dad would really enjoy it. Cabins in the woods aren't my cup of tea, but it was very homey. The owner was very friendly. There wasn't a ton of info regarding check in or out, but we figured it out. Overall, was pretty happy with the place.

Close to Marietta for the stern wheel festival. Very nice cabin with everything you need. Very cozy.

The place was delightful. It was secluded. We spotted four or five deer in the yard as we drove up, the deer were not at all disturbed by our presence. Rob, the owner was wonderfully attentive to our needs and wants. Everything about the place was restful which we needed. We look forward to our next visit.

Nice little cabin. Very accommodating host.

The host was available for any needs, however we were dismayed that the place was poorly lit, quite dusty and the reclining chairs were in disrepair. Upstairs the floors were creaky and where was no hot water in the upstairs half bath.
Some partially used leftover foods (pasta as an example) in the cabinet had expired 2 years prior.
On a positive note, the fridge was newer and had ample space.

Was a lovely place. Very interesting decor. Reminded me of my childhood. Robert was very informative about the area. Although it seems secluded, it was 10 minutes away from restaurants and sightseeing places. Fully equipped kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cabin is very nice. They have it decorated with lots of antique country items. We watch deer grazing at the edge of the woods each evening. And its actually close to Marietta Ohio. Everything you need is close.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed, and if we would have stayed longer we would have been able to try out the kitchen. The property was nice and secluded, and I ly a short drive to Marietta and just about anything you'd need. Our son really liked having the loft to himself. We'd definitely stay here again if we're coming to this area.

We enjoyed the quiet hideaway as it provided the peacefulness we needed. We also enjoyed the surrounding historical places we were able to visit. Rob was a great host, especially when we locked ourselves out.

My husband, our fur babies, and I enjoyed our stay at Rob’s cabin located in my hometown. I enjoyed the close proximity to my family, and all the social events we attended while in town. I felt comfortable leaving my furbies at the house as they were very comfortable/safe. I could tell Rob is a huge animal lover, I appreciate that. The cabin has so much charm, and though the property is in close quarters with others we very much enjoyed the property as well. Rob was very easy going and accessible to communicate with. We definitely look forward to our next stay.

A fried and I choose this for the location. We were looking for nice, twisty, two lane back road blacktop to ride our motorcycles. Great location near good food, great roads in both Ohio and West Virginia. Owner moved his car out of the garage to allow us to park inside, great conversation on local sites, restaurants, and roads to try. Highly recommended !! Neat place.

The pictures were accurate but we weren't told that the host's home and this house are connected. Also, when we arrived we were told another guest had mistakenly taken our key as well as their own. Host seemed surprised that I wanted the other key and didn't want a stranger with a key to where we were staying for the night. The setting though was very picturesque and quiet.

The stay was peaceful and quiet. The only problem we had was that Verbo did not give us the contact info for the site owner.

The place would have been great except:
1. It was very dusty and in need of a deep cleaning
2. There was smell of cigarette smoke wafting over from the connected unit
3.The bedroom/bathroom on the "first floor" has 2 steps down, which was difficult for my 88 year old father.
