A truly beautiful place to stay and a pleasure to return to.

We liked every aspect of our stay, accommodation, location and facilities. Watching the birds on the feeders was the icing on the cake. We can't fault any single part of our visit.

Even the outstanding weather conditions contributed to our stay.

A perfect place

Excellent location, with many places of interest nearby The actual surroundings of the cottage were superb, quiet and very relaxing, we must have spotted at least 7 different varieties of birds, including a woodpecker during our short stay. Just perfect

Fabulous

We loved everything about this place. The location was perfect - easy scenic drive to coastal hiking and Holy Island hiking. The accommodation was lovely with well equipped kitchen, great WiFi, delicious treat of a hamper with bread, cheese, milk, etc. There's nothing not to like.

Sensational country escape.

Sensational accommodation. Every thing was so well appointed and it has the most comfortable bed I think I have ever slept in. Well beyond my expectations. Lovely setting in a family farm / converted barn situation in a fairly remote area. Friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent welcome pack of local goodies.

Nothing, just a wonderful place. You certainly need a car, as there is nothing within walking distance, but for us that was part of it's charm. Would love to stay again.

Everything was wonderful. The property is beautiful, warm and cosy with luxury bedding. Sarah also provided a much welcomed bottle of local milk, homemade bread and a lovely hamper.

Highly recommended! Beautiful suite in a great location with everything you need including a very comfortable bed, functional kitchen, and big bathroom. The baskets of goodies were a special bonus that allowed us to taste some products from around the region. Sarah is a great host, very helpful and welcoming.

Perfect location for a couple visiting Northumberland

Incredibly good communication, both personally by phone/text/email and in greeting us when we arrived. Most impressed too with the dedicated app that included all the information we could possibly need in an attractive and accessible format. All the facilities were of a high, and in some cases beautiful, standard. We also appreciated the selection of books provided.

Not sure really. Perhaps a wooden spoon for stirring soup and a 'sausage' to lie along the curtain insulating the entrance but these are really very minor suggestions and not essential.

A perfect place to enjoy the autumn sunshine.

It was a perfect place to unwind and to go to the places we wanted to visit. The quality of the bedlinen and towels were so luxurious and the whole property felt like a hidden beautiful hotel suite. The hosts were on site but unseen and the welcome basket, full of local products was very very tasty. We loved the bowl of fresh tomatoes.

Sarah’s secret gem.

Cottage laid out well. Stayed during very hot period and host had put air conditioning unit in bedroom - bliss. Super bed, giant bathroom. Great position to visit NT places, Wallington and Cragside. Lots more to see, but ran out of time. Great welcome and lots of info.

It was exceptionally clean, easy to find, very friendly reception. Had everything to hand. The welcome box was outstanding, never seen anything so generous before. So comfortable.

Excellent Accommodation

Everything, all on ground floor, own entrance,beautiful throughout, comfy,( the bed is huge and to die for ) spotless,quiet accommodation with lovely views all round, couldn’t ask for more.

The fact that we had to leave!!!! Thankyou to Sarah/Jason for a wonderful stay and such beautiful accommodation. Would definitely love to come back, and certainly would recommend to others.
