L'Hirondelle Cottage sleeps 5 and has a private patio area with BBQ. This property has a well equipped kitchen and an open plan living area with French and English [FreeSat] TV, DVD and Wi-Fi facilities.

L'Hirondelle - and our other 2 gites on the same site - is set in grounds of 1 acre with an open-air swimming pool, sun loungers, pool cabin.
PLEASE NOTE: The heated swimming pool is only open between 8th June and 13th September.

Dotted around a few places and spent a few days beside the pool. Rennes was great and went to Mont Saint Michel a couple of times as it was so local.

The gite had a fabulously spacious open plan living room/dining room/kitchen with a very private outdoor dining space. We loved the swimming pool and games room and the peace and quiet of the countryside. There are so many places to visit within an hour of the property including an amazing tree top zip wire where our 11 year old spent 3.5 happy hours among the tree tops. The hosts were very relaxed and helpful.

This property ticks all the boxes and more, a fantastic property in a great location. The property is very clean and well maintained,with a fully kitted out kitchen and a washing machine. The log burner was brilliant.

Perfect home from home

Alison and Malcolm could not have done more to make our stay so comfortable. Communication was effortless which is important to us and the directions for finding Folleville were so helpful. Our stunning Gite was fully equipped to cook for the family. Everything was clean and well maintained. We were fortunate to have fabulous weather and made use of the heated pool and sun loungers daily. The location afforded us the ability to visit the many surrounding historic places of interest and still have time to relax in the games room or go for a swim in the pool. We went for walks in the beautiful countryside and next time we’ll be out on the bikes that were available to use (it was a bit too hot this summer!) We had privacy with the comfort of knowing that if we needed anything, our hosts were close by. On our last day, none of us wanted to leave (when usually after previous holidays, someone has had enough and wants to go home) and although we have never returned to the same destination, we were already discussing who we’ll bring with us next time.

Myself, Martina and our 3 daughters stayed for 10 days during the Summer with Alison in Hirondelle and found it to be an ideal location for a relaxing holiday in the Normandy countryside. The cottages are fantastically renovated providing a luxurious base to explore the area of which there is so much to see. We had full use of the heated swimming pool, large garden and barbeque area and even bicycles for a quick spin to the local village. Alison and Malcolm were so friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous holiday and cant wait to return. Conor

We recently spent a week with Alison at her place in Brittany. Herself and her husband couldn't have been nicer and were always so happy to help us out in any way they could. We had a fabulous trip. The kids had a wonderful time. The house was lovely- very clean and well equipped. The pool facilities were excellent and very well maintained. The area is a good one for going on day trips, as it is quite central. See you next year Alison! Thanks again. K

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Pool. Der Check-In hat super geklappt. Das Ferienhaus war sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alison und ihr Malcolm sind sehr gastfreundlich und haben unsere Anfragen immer gleich gut gelöst. Die Lage ist ruhig. Der Standort ist prima um Ausflüge zu unternehmen (z.B. zum Mont St. Michel, St. Malo, Dinard, Rennes...). Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub im Gite von Alison und Malcolm Many Thanks!!!

Nous sommes partis en famille avec nos enfants. Le lieu est absolument charmant et calme. L'équipement est parfait avec tout le nécessaire qui manque d'habitude dans les locations (produits d'entretien, d'hygiène, torchons, etc). Les propriétaires très avenants. Une cheminée très appréciée en cette période où tout était prêt et attendait notre arrivée ! Nous avons hâte de pouvoir y retourner avec nos amis.

Prima verblijf, met 2 volwassenen en 2 pubers, voor 3 pubers is Hirondelle wel een beetje te klein. 1 kleine badkamer op de etage met douche in bad en hier is ook t enige toilet. Beddengoed, linnengoed, alles is beschikbaar. Super hosts, leuke game room voor de kinderen, mooi zwembad en jeu de Boules baan, heerlijk rustig in een heel klein dorpje zonder bakker of andere voorzieningen, veel te doen in de omgeving! Heerlijke week gehad.

Heerlijke twee weken gehad bij Malcolm en Alyson. Leuk ingerichte cottage met gezellige woonkamer + keuken. Goed uitgerust, ondanks dat er geen vaatwasser is, wel een wasmachine. Boven is het wat klein, zeker met 3 tienerzonen van 17, 21 & 23. Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor bezoekjes aan de kuststreek, Le Mont St Michel, St Malo etc. Maar ook binnenlands naar Fougères en Rennes. Een dagje thuisblijven bij het huisje is ook heerlijk; fijn zwembad, goeie ligstoelen, grote groene grasmat, maar ook genoeg sportieve mogelijkheden; prima mountainbikes staan tot je beschikking, een goeie petanque baan en zelfs een schuurruimte om te darten en te poulbiljarten ! We hebben genoten !

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances avec nos 3 enfants. Le gîte est Très bien situé pour visiter aussi bien le Bretagne que la Normandie. Le linge de lits et de bain inclus dans le prix sont un véritable plus (style anglais à croquer). Les petits plus : savon pour les mains ou le bain, les torchons, jeux de cartes ou de société .... Brefs des pleins de petits plus vous attendent. Encore merci pour la disponibilité d'Alison et Malcolm. Nous reviendrons sans problème.

Heel rustige landelijke locatie, ideaal gelegen om de streek te ontdekken (Mont-Saint-Michel, St-Malo, Dinan, ... ). Rust werd verstoord door waterpomp van buren. 's Nachts slapen met open raam was onmogelijk. Is ondertussen hersteld. L'Hirondelle heeft een mooie woonkamer en keuken. Terras een beetje klein en weggestoken. Tuinmeubelen zijn aan vernieuwing toe. Glazen, potten en pannen moeten aangevuld worden. Geen vaatwas. Tweede slaapkamer was klein maar wel ideaal voor kinderen. Matras tweepersoonsbed aan vervanging toe. Badkamer klein (hoogte) en jammer geen apart toilet. Game-room mocht opgekuist zijn en bepaalde zaken zijn aan vernieuwing toe. Ruime tuin met zwembad. Carport voor wagen is ok. Zeer goede wifi. Hartelijke ontvangst door gastvrouw.
