A great combination of relaxation and city fun.

The hosts are incredibly helpful before and during my stay. The location is so peaceful and the balcony overlooking the garden and water is fantastic. Super easy by train to Amsterdam city. I loved every day spent there.

After a long day, walking from the train to the Tiny House felt hard (only 10-15 min) but it is worth it for the peace and quiet. Everything else was great.

The location is good and cosy. 15 min by train and you are in Amsterdam. The city itself is beautiful. The house owner is friendly and welcoming. All the needed facilities are in the house. We’ve stayed in a small wooden house.

Not didn’t like, but a thing to consider for other people. To get to the house you need to use a ladder, and to get to the bedroom you also use a ladder. For me, that was not a problem.

The owner is kind and they provide a clean and warm room for tourists. Bianca is a easy talking person and she could provide some good information regarding the area.

The bathroom is not outside and room I stayed, it’s a little bit of inconvenience, but it’s private bathroom for the tourist.

Cute tiny house with balcony

The house was super cute! There was everything we needed for a nice stay of several days. Set right on the canal it was walking distance to Zandaam Main Station. There is a grocery nearby and you can sit and watch the canal from the cute little private balcony. Clean with all the amenities.

It is a small house so the stairway/ladder and the bathroom are small if you are a larger person. The bed is medium hard so for me I would prefer softer. The bathroom is on the bottom floor with bedroom upstairs if you have to get up at night.

Our stay was amazing! ! !

Our stay at Zaandam was sensational and the apartment we stayed in was great, amazing. The equipment of the apartment exceeded our expectations. Clean, tastefully decorated. Blanka - the owner incredibly nice and helpful. Cold drinks were offered as a welcome. There is nothing not to like. Our suite was on two levels. On the ground floor there is a living room with a kitchenette and a bathroom, on the first floor there is a bedroom with a large balcony. Downstairs we also had a terrace with armchairs and a table. I would highly recommend!!!! If I had to give a rating, it's 10 on the Booking scale, we give 20!!!

Great place to stay if you want a little calmer pace to stay and be close to still taste Amsterdam!

The hosts! Such an amazing couple! Very helpful when I arrived and respected whatever space I needed yet as a solo traveller, welcomed me in with open arms! Spent most nights hanging out with them, a refreshing and calm place just a 10 minute easy train ride outside of the craziness of downtown Amsterdam. I'm in the middle of a 3 month solo trip through Europe and they were so sweet to help me around the area and feel safe, we had dinner together a few times, Bianca helped me book a nail appointment and do my laundry...and even the morning of my departure my suitcase zippers broke! She allowed me to borrow her luggage to get to my next destination (I mailed back her suitcase). Great place to stay, the privacy is there if you need it, and if you're a solo traveller looking to keep your independence yet connect with some amazing and kind people, this is a great place. They are even building a "tiny home" on their property set to open in a month if you're looking for a little extra privacy. Def plan to go back! Thank you Eric and Bianca!

Unexpected and most enjoyable.

Bianca and Eric were the most wonderful hosts and absolutely wonderful people. They are hospitable, helpful, very friendly and open and warm hearted. We didn’t expect a staying at a house with people living in it, but the experience was amazingly enjoyable, they know how to give space and how to have fun. As for the area, it’s perfectly positioned and close to everything you wish to see and more that you don’t even expect. We definitely recommend to stay here and we will return ourselves.

Annonce mensongère ?

L'expérience Tiny House est interessante. L'emplacement est super, proche de la gare, jolie. La propriétaire est très gentille.

L'annonce est mensongère : il est écrit Tiny House avec un seul choix de chambre, mais en réalité il y a deux choix (l'autre était déjà réservé donc je ne pouvais pas le voir). Le premier choix : la Tiny House. Le deuxième choix : une chambre dans la maison des propriétaires de la Tiny. House. Ne voyant que le choix de la chambre, avec l'annonce qui s'appelle Tiny House, je pensais que j'avais réservé la Tiny House (logique), mais en fait, après s'être installés, la propriétaire nous a dit que nous avions réservé la chambre simple et que nous allions certainement devoir laisser la Tiny House à l'homme qui l'avait réservé. Heureusement, il nous l'a laissé gentiment car il était seul, mais s’il s'agissait d'un couple, notre Weekend aurait été gâché. Nous avons trouvé des poils et beaucoup de saleté dans le frigo. Nous avons également trouvé un poil et de la saleté sur l'égouttoir à vaisselle. Le matelas est dur, pour ma copine qui a des problèmes de dos, ce n'est pas agréable du tout. Toute cette expérience a été stressante et a nui à notre confort. De plus, la propriétaire n’était pas dans l’optique de nous rembourser alors que le problème vient du manque de clarté de l’annonce et de la tromperie de cette dernière.

Prima locatie voor Damloop

Fijne ontvangst. Aardige gastvrouw die allerlei tips geeft over eetgelegenheden en bezienswaardigheden. Naast onze kamer hadden we een privé badkamer. De keuken konden we ook gewoon gebruiken. En het station zit op nog geen kilometer. Gratis parkeren.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen und sehr ruhig. Das Tinyhouse hat eine Klimaanlage. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich.

Die Treppe zum Schlafraum. Die Parkplatzsituation ist sehr schwierig. Direkt vor der Tür findet man nur mit sehr viel Glück einen freien Parkplatz.

Esperienza meravigliosa in un ambiente tipico e accogliente

Meravigliosa esperienza. Abbiamo soggiornato nella stanza con bagno privato. Bianca è un'ottima padrona di casa, super accogliente e pronta a dare consigli e suggerimenti. E' stato super piacevole parlare con lei e avvicinarsi alla cultura olandese. Sempre disponibile e mai invadente, abbiamo avuto la nostra totale privacy. La stanza era molto pulita e confortevole e l'appartamento è dotato di tutto il necessario. Ottima la posizione in una posizione comoda con la stazione ma al contempo in zona tranquilla e molto carattteristica. Un piccolo angolo di mondo che vale la pena assaporare, sotto tutti gli aspetti!!! Sicuramente ritorneremo quando passeremo di nuovo per l'Olanda!

Alloggio buono ma che non corrispondeva alla descrizione e alle foto

La posizione della casa era ottima, i proprietari gentili e disponibili. La camera era pulita e ordinata e anche il bagno ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative

Purtroppo ci sono stati dei fraintendimenti tra la camera che avevamo prenotato e quella che ci era stata affidata. Su Booking le foto corrispondevano ad una depandance indipendente nel giardino della casa dei proprietari ma, al posto della depandance indipendente, ci è stata affidata una camera da letto e un bagno all'interno della casa in cui vivevano i proprietari. Non è stato un problema convivere nello stesso ambiente, ma comunque abbiamo dovuto permanere in una camera quando le foto che avevamo visto su Booking mostravano una depandance indipendente con tanto di cucina, palestra privata, salotto, camera da letto e bagno. Siamo rimasti delusi da questo fraintendimento solo perchè a nostro parere è stato poco corretto e il rapporto qualità-prezzo non era equilibrato
