An absolute gem and a perfect stay.

Perfect hostess who gave us homemade food and drink.goodies! Very spacious, immaculate studio with loads of home comforts, blankets, cushions, netflix, umbrellas, gloves and so much more. Location near 2 stations and next to bus routes for easy access to the city. Well equiped kitchen and 2 supermarkets 2 mins away. Warm and cozy constant temperature in the cold weather. This place is an absolute gem and Gabrielle ensured we had a perfect stay. Highly recommend and will look to stay again, we loved it.

Cozy and lovely stay

One of the most beautiful accommodations I’ve ever stayed in! The room is lovely, spacious, and cozy. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. We had the garden and sauna all to ourselves. Gabrielle is a wonderful host — she welcomed us warmly and was always available. The surroundings are perfect as well — the shop is close by, it’s just a short walk to the windmills, and the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Thank you so much, we’d be happy to come back!

A great place to stay, we would come back here if we travel to the Netherlands again.

Everything about the accommodation was very good. There were all the necessary kitchen utensils and other extras suitable for a studio apartment, a nice big bed, not to mention the sauna. The hostess Gabrielle was very friendly and welcoming and very helpful.

Spacious, practical self contained studio with all the amenities one needs. The private sauna was an added bonus. Breakfast was very tasty & beautifully presented by Gabriele. Cafe/shop/chickens also well worth a visit

Great Stay at De oude slacht

The room was sizable enough to be able to spend an enjoyable day indoors - a very homey feel. The sauna is a great change to the standard... Especially nice in the winter months. Breakfast was fantastic.. more than enough food!! The host was very pleasant and accommodating

Perfect apartment for a perfect stay.

We loved this apartment, it was just as seen on pictures. Gabrielle takes care of each detail, there is shampoo & gel provided, a ton of towels and even face lotion for the cold weather. The kitchen is packed with tea and coffee and has everything you need. Its located next to a big supermarket, so you can get food anytime. The center is about 2km away so you will have to walk a bit or take a bus, but for us it was absolutely fine. The bus stop is just 1 min away too. The carefully prepared breakfast was the highlight of each day :) We are good eaters, but even we had some leftovers. You can see the love and dedication, Gabrielle puts into hosting her guests. Whenever we had questions she would help us out, it was all over a very warm and loving connection we had with her & we will for sure be back!

The bed was very soft, we prefer hard beds, so it was not ideal for us. But even so it was very cozy!! Also we had some problems with sleeping sometimes due to the outside lights and the thermostat which made a weird ´klick` sound. As we do also work in the tourism branch, the only improvements i would recommend would be darker courtains and some hooks in the bathroom for the wet towels. Other than that, we were very happy with choosing this Apartment for our stay.

We love the hot tub!! Gabrielle is extremely helpful and made us yummy welcome snacks. The room was comfortable, clean, stylish and very functional.

Rilassante, piacevole e con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Struttura bellissima, moderna, elegante e accogliente, fornita di tutto e molto comoda come posizione a pochi minuti dalla stazione dei treni da cui con due fermate si arriva ad Amsterdam centrale (10 min). Dotata di fornello a induzione e cucina, macchinetta del caffè e acqua a temperatura di ebollizione direttamente dal lavandino.

Alloggio molto funzionale, con la sauna nel giardino. Molto confortevole, colazione super così come Gabrielle e i suoi preziosi consigli. Non da meno supermercato nelle vicinanze per qualsiasi necessità.

Tolle Unterkunft mit super Frühstück und sehr netter Gastgeberin

Die Lage ist verkehrsgünstig um schnell mit dem Zug nach Amsterdam zu kommen. Auch mit dem Rad (wird zur Verfügung gestellt) ist man schnell an einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Aber es ist halt eine Unterkunft in der Stadt, daher darf man keine Idylle und komplette Ruhe erwarten. Wenn man das weiß, ist man hier sehr gut untergebracht. Außergewöhnlich ist das Frühstück, das hat 5 Sterne plus und wird mit viel Liebe von der sehr netten Gastgeberin jeden Morgen frisch geliefert. Dafür noch einmal vielen Dank, so etwas hatten wir wirklich nicht erwartet.

Tout : l 'appartement super bien placé, le train a 15mm à pied, le bus a 5mm pour se rendre à Amsterdam. Pas loin non plus de Zaanse shans (3kms). Accueil super chaleureux : jus de fruit petits gâteaux à notre arrivée. Le petit déjeuner super copieux (il y en a assez pour le pique nique du midi et aussi pour le goûter). Tout le nécessaire est dans l appartement. Lidl et Aldi juste a côté, très pratique pour faire les courses. Terrasse et possibilité de profiter du sauna.

Geweldige accommodatie met alle voorzieningen die je je maar kunt wensen. De eigenaresse gaat tot het uiterste om het iedereen naar de zin te maken. Studio is gezellig en knus ingericht. We werden verrast met iets lekkers bij aankomst. Ontbijt was voortreffelijk, verrassend en zo veel dat je zelfs geen lunch meer nodig zou hebben. Bereidt met verse producten en eitjes van de kippen die je kunt gaan aaien en voeren in de tuin. Daarnaast heeft ze nog een gezellige theetuin, waar je kunt genieten van een lunch of high tea. Dit is zeker een aanrader :-)

Kurzurlaub nahe Amsterdam

Sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Sehr netter und persönlicher Empfang durch Gabrielle, die uns jeden Morgen ein super Frühstück bereitet hat. Jeden Tag einen Snack für unterwegs. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Separate, alleinige Nutzung des Gartens mit Faßsauna und Möglichkeit zum grillen. Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen zur Bahnstation. Der Ort Zaandam ist ein hübscher Ort mit vielen Möglichkeiten.
