Off the beaten path house that’s very nice. Has everything you need for a quiet peaceful stay without any drama or disturbances. The livestock on the surrounding ranch adds to the appeal. It was our second stay and it did not let me down. Close to town. Make sure to check out the Pecan Grille while here.

This home was perfect for our adult family of 6. We loved the patio for our gatherings in the mornings. The farm animals were an addition to our visit. The house was well stocked with linens, coffee pots and dishes. Very comfortable home. You might add a sign at the turn that reads CR210!

Owner was very easy to contact and address our location issue which turns out to be a Google maps issue. House was nice clean and quiet. Fire pit was awesome with a star filled sky. I will book again next year for our trip.

This amazing house was perfect for our stay to celebrate a birthday. It was clean, beautifully decorated and set in the most tranquil place. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the patio each morning and viewing the stars each night. The amazing host was so helpful, patient and friendly. We loved our shopping and winetasting in the the nearby town of San Saba where the most friendly people on Texas live.

Great place! Perfect size for our group of 4. Very clean and plenty of space. We loved the outdoor area with chairs, firepit, table, etc - it was a beautiful weekend for being outside. Great star gazing at night. The property is off a dirt road and cell service was spotty, but the house has wi-fi and we had no issues. Very comfy beds. Easy to get in. Loved the sheep who came to visit us in the mornings!

Oh, my goodness! If you are looking for a place that checks off all your desires, this is it! This cabin was spotless, and the decor is to die for. Our stay was perfect, and just what we were looking for. It is so peaceful and quiet, and the visits from the mama sheep and their lambs just added to our joy! Thank you so much for EVERYTHING!

The cabin is amazing and has everything one could need on a little getaway in the heart of Texas. Our group really enjoyed the stay. Perfect place to enjoy nature, experience some boutique shops and restaurants in San Saba and to hike around Colorado Bend state park.

Great out-of-the-way cabin in the Hill Country

This cabin was great for our family - out of the way, but central to our exploration of the Hill Country. Kathy and Mark were great - they were available if we needed anything, but, to use Mark's words, "stayed out of our way." He brought over a baby lamb that had just been born (after its mother cleaned it) and let us hold it. Our kids got quite the kick out of that. My only suggestion is more dishes, as our family of 6 did a lot of dishwashing. Otherwise perfect! Thank you.
