The cottage was perfect for our family of 4 adults. It is back in the woods which is very peaceful. We saw a deer our first morning. It is very centrally located in Door County. I think the longest drive we had to anything we did was about 15-20 minutes. The cottage itself is very nice. The living dining and kitchen area were all great. The bedrooms were also nice and the mattresses were comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews there is one bed in one of the upstairs bedrooms that is very high off the ground, but the other 2 were fine. The bathrooms were also fine. The laundry is in the downstairs bath and it is a little loud. They do ask that you do a load of towels before you leave. We actually did them the night before and threw the remaining towels in the wash before we left, so that was not a big deal. The fire pit outside was really nice. And it was nice to sit outside and enjoy your morning coffee. I would stay at this property again.

The property was the perfect place to getaway. It was tucked away but still close to downtown Fish Creek. Check in and check out was very easy and Jon and Lucy answered all my questions prior to and during our trip. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The property is on a very wooded site and not visible to the road however there is another cottage about 120 feet away. Upon arriving the unit appeared clean but when we looked into the refrigerator there were 20 to 25 bottles of condiments chocolate sauces taco sauces that were left from previous guest and also there was quite a bit of liquor in one cabinet when questioning the property owner they said it was left from previous guest and we could use it it clearly stated in the handout that the property including the refrigerator and cupboards had to have all the food removed which gave us a less than sanitary feel for the kitchen. Note the beds are very and may not be feasible for children or older adults. Air conditioner was installed the day we arrived but never turned on outside so the upstairs was at 95 degrees. Tried opening windows but one window had no screen and other room had damaged blinds that fell off the brackets. Dryer was full of sheets and towels from previous guests. It is clearly stated in their policy that all appliances and good be cleaned out. Given covid was going on this was appalling to say the least. However when sharing these issues with the owners the did apologize and refunded part of our fees. If they up their cleaning maintenance duties it really is a cute place👍
