It was really spacious and clean, in a great location close to Legoland, the airport and a bus route.

We liked everything about the property. The grounds were a bonus - it was great that the young children we went with could run around outside in the evenings. Our only suggestion would be to have a full length mirror in the property and a set of draws or wardrobe in the second bedroom.

Perfect place for family

About 10 minutes to Legoland and lalandia. Near by the city center. Very helpful staff, the manager of the place is a very nice person. We had a mistake with our reservation, because we booked two nights for 2 persons and we were 4 actually( we have two children 7 years and 1 year old), the manager helped us without asking for extra money. The place around is super nice if you have time to take a tour. There is a place to play football and a lovely play ground.

Nice apartment for families, very close to Legoland and Lalandia.

Very nice apartment, clean och modern interior. Spacious and suitable for a 2-4 persons. We did not get a chance to meet the hosts, which was a bit odd to us, but since everything worked our well we didn't need to I guess. Kids got to sleep in a sofa converted into a bed, and it was a good one. Adults could have used it too.

The view from our appartment/dining area was facing the parking and back yard. Which included trash dumpsters and some dead plants in pots. Not a disaster I guess, but it could have been nicer. Planting something that doesn't require watering would be better and setting something up to hide the dumpsters would be easy and appreciated.

Very good

We only stayed for the night and arrived very late as driving from Copenhagen. Eva the host was super helpful and accommodating and everything was ready when we arrived. The apartment was pleasant and clean and beds were comfortable. Rules of the house were clearly written in the folder. Cats were our favourite part of the stay as they curiously observed us trough the window ( we could not let them into the apartment) The surroundings were beautiful and we wished we could stay there longer.

Peaceful

Hot tub was lovely for my husband and daughter, they said very warm. Facilities were great, it had what we needed and was not loud. The beds were comfy enough and the tv and all appliances worked without issue. Bathroom was clean and everything worked. The apartment was well cleaned. Everything was easy and smooth to access in the apartment. Host was kind-offered us a lift to the airport on the last day. Lovely cats, kept us good company, a nice play area for children, everything is well kept and relatively simple to access from the city. They did fireworks at new year and it was lovely we could watch.

The access to the city was so difficult. Buses do run, but they drive past, they show up at any time they feel like, no care to actually pick you up. They don’t even drive into the stops! I was mortified by the public transport! We called for a taxi- no taxis! We used an app- no taxi! We could not get a taxi or bus no matter what! We had to walk 4 miles miles to the city to the nearest shops to buy food etc. I am very pregnant and my daughter is 6, this was very hard for us, we were all very cold and damp by the end of the walk. It was not ideal. From the city we could get a taxi back to the apartment thank god. On the day of check out we asked for the host to try to get a taxi for us, and she was kind and tried to get us a taxi and was unable. Thankfully, she gave us a lift to the airport as she went to work, which was so kind as I couldn’t bare another 4 mile walk with luggage in the rain. But really the buses and taxis should be bothered to come slightly out of the centre and collect passengers.

Better than expected, would recommend

We booked the smallest apartment and it still was very comfortable for two people and it had everything we needed. In addition to that, Eva was a superb host, and we could not have enjoyed our stay as much without her assistance. The possibility to use a cooking grill outside and a jacuzzi really make this a very unique experience.

If you are not ready to walk or use public transportation or a car, be it a taxi or your own, you may have a bad time going anywhere.

Superb

Perfect solution for Legoland / Lego House, just a few minutes drive away. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the place was in great condition, clean, well equipped. the small play area for kids, outdoor barbecue area and forest walk are a great addition. Option to do laundry (for a reasonable fee) was very helpful!

There are a couple of cats on the property who keep coming indoors if you don't keep all doors and windows closed at all times. They are gentle but this was a bit inconvenient. Also note it gets quite hot in August, the fans were appreciated.

Amazing! Reccomended!!!

Everything was better than we expected! Very calm surroundings. The apartment was very clean, bright and had everything we needed. The owners were super helpfull and nice! There is a jacuzzi outside that was ready when we arrived - free of charge. The kitchen had egg boiler, toaster, coffee machine. All in all everything was amazing. Mini note: taxi is around 20EUR to airport/legoland. But very easy and fast to get there.

A good option if you don't mind making your own breakfast and would rather spend money in Legoland

It's an affordable, low-key place with basic functionalities. It is, however, well kept and tidy. All necessities are provided (kettle, coffee machine, toaster, cutlery, dishes, towels, etc.). The TV is of the "smart" variety, so you can use Netflix after you log in with your credentials. Wifi is fast enough and secure. The rooms are spacious enough to not feel cramped (we were 3 in apartment 2). Everything was clean and I felt no worry using the dishes/cutlery straight out of the cupboard without thoroughly washing up first

The bathroom was not ventilated passively - the fan was loud and only worked when the lights were on. Also, the shower was missing one of the glass panels, so half of the bathroom floor was wet after the showers

Quiet setting about 10 minutes from town

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It is in a very quiet, wooded, private area. There is a jacuzzi on the patio that was very enjoyable to use. I was traveling and having difficulty with my international phone connection so I wasn't able to communicate easily on the day of arrival but managed to connect with them to coordinate getting the key. The location is about 10 minutes from Billund. The taxi ride was about $40 USD which is a lot for a short ride so if you are planning a trip nearby and do not have a rental car, then don't plan for many trips back and forth to the apartment. Since I didn't have a car and didn't have a chance to get food beforehand, I ordered delivery and there was only one restaurant that was delivering late at night (Mama's pizza). It was good! But I for sure would have planned to bring more since it is not located near any restaurants or businesses.

A perfect place for families when visiting Lego House or Legoland. So much better than a hotel!

Our stay here was perfect. The accommodation is better than the photos and there is even a go kart for the children, swing set and football goals. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, and a well stocked kitchen which is rare to find.

Great location - to Legoland 10 minutes by car. Very nice service. The apartment is large and equipped with everything you need, nothing was missing. Very nice place, nicely decorated, clean, parking space for a car. I RECOMMEND !

Great place for families.

The location was great. It was nice and quiet, with a great place for kids to play and run around. It was super close to Lego House and downtown but felt like you were out in the country. The property itself was clean and in great condition.

Our only complaint was that there was no silverware in the kitchen. There were utensils for cooking but no forks, knifes, or spoons. Everything else looked fairly new so we guessed this was just an oversight of the host.
