A Fabulous Stay at the Sable Hotel
We had a fabulous time at the Sable Hotel and loved everything about it—the view, the room, and the food.
The view was truly exceptional. Each evening, after a full day of touring, we could watch the city from our room as the skyline and lake transitioned from day into night. In the mornings, we were treated to the sunrise rising over the Chicago skyscrapers—a breathtaking start to the day.
Service was consistently high. The housekeeping team did an exceptional job with our room, the reception staff were warm and efficient, and the waitstaff were always pleasant and helpful. We had breakfast daily, which was both lovely and tasty. Special mention goes to Denisse, a waiter with genuine expertise in catering for coeliacs, which made us feel well looked after.
We also enjoyed drinks on the rooftop bar—a lovely, relaxing spot to unwind after a day of exploring.
The pier itself offered plenty to see and do. We took the architecture tour directly from the pier and learned a great deal about the city. As a special touch, the hotel treated us to rides on the Ferris wheel of which we did twice, and the viewing experience was nothing short of amazing.
Transport to other parts of the city was readily available—buses, Uber, and more—though most days we chose to walk everywhere.
Overall, the Sable Hotel delivered a wonderful experience from start to finish.
Nothing - just a minor recommendation - we had the breakfast arrangements clarified prior to arrival. For all guests it be good to be clear on arrangements i.e voucher towards free selection from breakfast menu at lirica with some items funded and others partially funded by the voucher.
Overall a fabulous stay at a top hotel.

It was a convenient location for the event we were attending at the pier. The staff were nice and the hotel was well kept.
Parking prices are insane. The room is no better than any other typical hotel room. No quick type of breakfast you'd find at most hotels. For the price, it was nothing special other than the location itself. Could've stayed in a similar hotel 5 minutes away for a cheaper price and cheaper parking.
