Arbor House of Dripping Springs - Nautical House

Location: this property is located on a hill, far enough from any road, almost no traffic. The house was clean in and out, with a rustic design that was matching the surrounding trees and the whole "hill country" vibe. The bed was comfortable enough so we could rest after a full day of exploring the area. Internet (wi-fi) was available on the property along with a Roku TV. Personally, I think that is more than enough for a "get-away" stay. Nature was present all around the treehouse and we loved it. The kitchen is small enough to not bother you, but also large enough to get you situated in case you really want to cook something on the small electric cooktop. Microwave and electric oven were also present for reheating or defrosting snacks or precooked food. There is also a charcoal/wood grill outside and the common area has a nice fire pit and many garden/lawn chairs. There is also a set of corn hole game apart from the common seating area. Be prepared to drive on a crushed rock paved road, up and down, a 4WD will do better, but we were just fine in a Mazda 6 sedan, front wheel drive, no special off-road setup. If we made it, you could do that too. Have fun and enjoy the people next to you and relaxation.

Internet connection was not very stable, it kept dropping every 15-25 minutes, with coming back, but honestly, you choose such a peaceful place to enjoy the nature, to relax, to reconnect to your spouse, and not to stay on your phone (Speaking of... cellular reception was poor, but I still managed to get any phone call/text msg. Perhaps your provider has a better coverage, but I doubt it). I also get it, some people are workaholics and can't take a day or two off. To us, it was about refreshing and reconnecting, so internet wasn't a real issue, except for the time we wanted to watch a movie on Netflix/Prime Video and I had to constantly reconnect the TV to the wi-fi network. Since I have several Roku stream players at home, that was an easy, though annoying, task and we still watched those movies and did NOT let this small thing take our joy away.

The Internet service . We couldn't get through a movie with out it freezing...The Tv told us the router box needed to be reset but we couldn't find it. Left message with the number we were told to call if we had issues no one ever called us back. We couldn't get on our computers at all.My phone was in SOS mode the whole time we were in the cabin.
