Town Head Cottage

The location in Granting, close to the shops and restaurants/ pubs of Main Street and within easy walking distance to Linton Falls, was great for our exploration of the Dales. The cottage is cozy, nicely furnished, and has everything needed for cooking, building a fire, sleeping comfortably, etc. The washer was easy to operate and the welcome gifts / wood for a fire were nice touches as well.

Very steep stairs and the toilet wasn't flushing reliably - took several attempts at times.

It was really easy to get the keys from the lock box. Communication was really clear and helpful.

There was nothing not to like. The one exception would be parking, which felt a bit tight because it was a narrow road.

Charming cottage…well appointed in a great location. We appreciated the welcome gifts 😀

We had an issue with one of the appliances upon arrival and found it difficult to get in touch with anyone to get the issue resolved. 2nd bedroom was not large enough for bedside table or reading lamp therefore only had overhead lamp.

The property was very clean. It was nice and cozy very near to the main town, the national park office. They had kept umbrellas if required, lots of brochures on Dales and indoor games to play.

They need to remove the info on the old WIFI connection, which led to some confusion and the safe was locked, though it was not required by us
