"The property was very clean. It was nice and cozy very near to the main town, the national park office. They had kept umbrellas if required, lots of brochures on Dales and indoor games to play."

Charming cottage…well appointed in a great location. We appreciated the welcome gifts 😀
We had an issue with one of the appliances upon arrival and found it difficult to get in touch with anyone to get the issue resolved.
2nd bedroom was not large enough for bedside table or reading lamp therefore only had overhead lamp.

The property was very clean. It was nice and cozy very near to the main town, the national park office. They had kept umbrellas if required, lots of brochures on Dales and indoor games to play.
They need to remove the info on the old WIFI connection, which led to some confusion and the safe was locked, though it was not required by us

The cottage was spotless, warm & cosy. Decor was stunning, felt like a home from home. Easy self check in, lots of leaflets for local attractions. Good sized rooms perfect for a short stay. Well equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer and washing machine.
Cannot fault this property.

This is a beautiful property which is maintained to a very high standard. The location is excellent, both for those who wish to remain in the village and those who wish to explore the surrounding area. Thoughtful touches such as fuel for the stove were much appreciated, as was the host's flexibility. I would not hestitate to return.
The second bedroom is almost filled by the double bed - whoever is occupying that room needs to be well-organised!

The cottage is well equipped and well presented and ideal for a couple . The log fire was a lovely touch and easy to set up and light. The cottage was warm and cosy and an easy walk into Grassington of 5 mins.
The second bedroom was not a double and would be better a single or bunk beds . There was 2.5 feet from bed to wall and no where to dress etc . The other side of the bed was against the wall . The only plus was the bed was very comfortable . I left my suitcase in my friends room the large double which was very nice. The TV in the lounge had a recurring fault with the sound , which can only be resolved by wiggling the jack in and out of the back of the Bose unit. This has to be done each time you switch the TV on .

A very comfortable cosy cottage in excellent condition. One of the best equipped kitchens we've ever been to on our holidays. Grassington is a great location to explore the Dales and has plenty of good pubs and cafes to choose from. Not far from Skipton either, to get the frequent trains to Bradford or Leeds. While the cottage was placed just out of the village centre away from the many weekend visitors. Plenty of space for clothes in the main bedroom along with a comfy bed. There was also a handy little porch, to leave any muddy boots, plus a few umbrellas should they be needed. We even had a couple of bottles of beer and mini-wines to welcome us. All in all very well worth it!
These comments feel a bit nit picky for such a lovely place. But it is a bit tricky to find (at least for us). A street name would be more useful for the SATNAV as the post code provided was not helpful on our SATNAV when we reached the Town Head neighbourhood. The cottage was ideal for the two of us but the second bedroom is a bit of a squeeze, as would be the kitchen dining area for four.

We absolutely loved the Town Head Cottage for its great location and character. It had all we needed, hot shower, cozy living room, comfy beds and history (thick stone walls). Happy!
