Chambres d'hôtes de charme à la ferme Freysz

Die Unterkunft ist wundervoll. Ein sehr gepflegter und charmanter ehemaliger Bauernhof, bei dem bereits das Tor zum Hof die Besucher willkommen heißt. Philippe ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber und schafft es, präsent zu sein, ohne jemals aufdringlich zu wirken. Zum Frühstück gab es sehr leckere Aufmerksamkeiten, die von der Dame des Hauses großteils selbst hergestellt werden. Zum Abschied gab es noch eine sehr interessante und kurzweilige Führung über den Hof. Sollten wir wieder in die Gegend kommen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder bei Philippe wohnen. Ganz wichtig zu erwähnen ist, dass es auch unseren Töchtern im Teenie-Alter sehr gefallen hat!

The property just breathes history. It’s been in the family for centuries, and that’s obvious from all the artifacts and the building. As a B&B it’s great. Philippe is super friendly, making sure you got everything you need. The room was big and spacious with two fancy fans for ventilation, a big breakfast and space to sit outside. It’s very close to Strasbourg, about a 15 minute ride.

The breakfast was special. The food was homemade, delicious, and diverse. In a unique atmosphere and setting, homemade dishes were served by the host, Philippe, who made every effort to make us feel at home. A very interesting and hospitable person, rarely encountered.The location is excellent as it is close to Strasbourg, with the possibility to leave the car in a nearby parking area that is very affordable. The friendly host explained to us that the parking ticket can also be used for public transportation in Strasbourg.

No complaints.

The host, Philippe, was as good as they come: welcoming, helpful and fun! The room is very nice: modern with authentic elements and situated in a classic Elsazian farmhouse. The only thing was that I was too tall for the ceiling height, but that is not unusual for me ;-). Philippe even gave us another room where the ceiling was a bit higher. Simply a great place and host.
