Private Pool, Private Beach Access.

Incredible beach access and comfort.

Host was very responsive all along, and was even happy to help us when our travel plans changed a little bit. Great house that is located in the middle of everything in the area so it was perfect for our group. Looking forward to booking the same place next year.

Great house, immaculatey clean, very well stocked kitchen, 2 washers and dtyers, super convenient location! Owner is very nice and responsive- this was our second time at this house and cant wait to go back!

We were in a pinch to book a house and when booking for Thanksgiving week this was one of the last standing ocean front properties which is very important to us. I give this house a 3.5. Let me preface this by saying we have been coming to Destin for 26 years 2x a year so have stayed in tons of rentals. Pros: Location. Right on the beach. Right across the street from DQ, Bad Ass Coffee and breakfast place. Went there often. Noise level is decent. House was very clean. Sheets were soft and all mattresses seemed to be new. Private beach with not too much traffic. They left cleaning supplies which was really nice. Spoke with property manager a few times on text and once on the phone. He was responding until he didn't. I gave him the opportunity and gave him feedback and no response. Honestly I feel like they owe me some of my money back. 1. We paid $60 a day to heat the pool and it NEVER got warm. He said it was 80-82. That is not warm in November when one day temps were in the 40's. Had I known 80 was the max I would never had paid for it. At best a cool bath water. I mentioned to him that it didn't feel warm and if that was all it was going to get to I wanted to not pay for the other days. He said it wouldn't go over 82 but we have the exact heater at home with a bigger pool and it goes over 90. 2. The pool was dirty. I took pictures for him but he never responded. When you pay top dollar for a home with a pool you expect to use it. 3. AC never would turn below 72. I sleep at home with it on 70. One day it got pretty steamy and we were hot at night. They control the thermostat and again for 8k plus a week I think I should be able to turn it to 70. 4. Sometimes you got a hot shower, other times you didn't. We couldn't figure out that but somebody needs to check plumbing. Tons of outlets did not work in the bedrooms. The master bedroom is DARK. Add lights. Propane was empty so I had to spend my own money to replace it for the next guest. Master bed squeaks on every single turn. Didn't sleep well even with new mattress. Downstairs pullout is nasty. Time to put some money in furniture and not just the two couches upstairs. The outdoor furniture is not what is pictured. Old and rusty. Wood deck hurts your feet and at any moment you are waiting for splinters. These might seems nit picky but when you pay top dollar, you expect top dollar. This house has so much potential. We would not stay here again for the price.
