The team and the nice atmosphere with all the travelers occupying the house Common breakfast with nice chat time with everyone Lily is a very kind and nice host and can arrange easily on your wishes Location is great but a car is a must have if you want to explore the area by yourself

The pillows of the bedroom must be upgraded to something more comfy Apart from that everything was fine !

The breakfast here is the best I’ve ever had compared to any other hostel! I love the vibe here - the people I met, Lily(host) & the staffs! Such a cozy & relaxing ambience! It’s close to Luz beach - less crowded & very calm & blue waters! Highly recommended I would come here again & again!

The only con would just be the location :(

It is more a mix of a hotel and a hostel (not your regular type of hostel). The house and outside area are huge and the amenities are great. Everything is cleaned and well maintained. It is very relaxing and was quiet when I was there, so good place if you want to relax and have time for yourself away from the busyness. The closest beach is beautiful and has very clear and calm water. The female dorm was very big with 2 beautiful balconies and a nice bathroom connected to it. You have comfy beds and good privacy there. The staff is very nice and makes you feel like a family. You can meet people at breakfast and in your dorm room if you want, but it does not feel as social as other hostel as people stick a bit more to themselves.

My experience at Vida Boa Lodge was absolutely amazing. I truly enjoyed everything — from the beautifully designed interior and peaceful exterior to the overall atmosphere of the place. Everything was clean, fresh, and carried a lovely scent that made me feel comfortable and at ease from the moment I arrived. The location is perfect if you’re looking for peace of mind, a place to reset, and reconnect with yourself and nature. It’s the kind of environment that invites you to slow down, breathe, and just be. But what touched me the most were the people. I met some of the kindest, most beautiful souls there — guests and staff alike. The energy is so warm and welcoming that it genuinely feels like home. The connection I felt with people from all around the world made my stay unforgettable. I would absolutely come back — and recommend it to anyone who’s looking for more than just a place to sleep, but a place to feel alive again.
