Excellent location and clean

Central location, next to bus stop for ski areas, 2 minutes from Coop supermarket and next to restaurants and bars. Kitchen well equipped with oven and microwave. Apartment very clean.

Later check out after 10am would be helpful to either 11 or 12 - not a deal breaker though.

Beautiful Place with some discomforts

The view from my window was stunning, facing directly toward Mount Titlis. The support staff were always available and quick to respond to any questions. When I asked for a charger socket and a toaster, both were provided immediately. The manager personally came by right after check-in to see if I needed anything and resolved a blanket issue on the spot.

I stayed for three nights, and the hotel mentioned that a mini cleaning would be done after the second night. However, when I returned to the room, I realized that “mini cleaning” only meant replacing towels and removing trash. There was no floor cleaning at all. I did not expect deep cleaning, but at least a quick vacuum for hygiene would have been reasonable. Alternatively, a vacuum could be kept in the at the entrance below stairs for guests who wish to clean themselves. Also, even the trash removal was incomplete. The bathroom bin was not emptied and was left as it was. When I raised this with the online support staff, the response felt quite cold. I was simply told it was an oversight and that facility management would be informed for the next time, Seriously! Another inconvenience was the absence of a handwash sink in the toilet. I had to wash my hands in the kitchen sink, which felt awkward. Lastly, the mattress was not comfortable, possibly due to heavy usage.

1. Apartment was on 2nd floor and without lift, it was really very hard to carry the luggage up there. 2. Kids wanted to use toilet but there was no common washroom and we were asked to wait until check-in which was at 3:00 PM.

The worst holiday experience we have ever had.

Absolutely the worst holiday experience we as a family have ever had. The owner and his on site manager are liars and bullies. They threatened us and absolutely ruined our time in switzerland over a small accidental damage that we alerted them to immediately, threatening us, demanding cash and charging us 483 euros for the smallest damage. Threats of boarder police etc to try and make us give them cash, which was not in line with their own policy. AVOID!!!!

Amazing stay, with great views, great hospitality and convenient distance to the train station and supermarkets

My parents and I loved our stay at the ALP APARTMENTS! Everything was great from the day we checked in till we checked out. The staffs on site were nice and professional. One of them even greeted us when we checked in, and explained and answered our queries. Even when there were no staffs around, the app was so useful. It had all the information we needed and we were able to get almost immediate replies from the hosts through the app. We absolutely loved our time there. The views we had in the morning were beautiful and the apartment is coincidently located near to the train stations and the supermarkets.

Would definitely visit this place again! Highly recommend to families with children.

Location is really the best! Beautiful centre location with beautiful views in historical building. 2 supermarkets and summer bus stop just around the corner. Kitchen had everything we needed. Also things like sugar, salt, cooking oil. Good coffee. Books for children (our kids really liked books about Globi) and even board games (under the stairs). First evening when we arrived it was cold, but we switched on radiators and could regulate them ourselves according to our needs.

Brand new apartment and very clean and comfortable. Walkable to Titlis base station and engelberg train station. Public parking near to the apartment. Excellent staff and service.

Amazing! Would definitely go back!

The apartment was very beautiful and clean. There was exceptional attention to detail and the host was extremely helpful and polite. We travelled with our parents and kids. There were extra bedding and towels provided in a neat packing. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials like basic cooking spices and cleaning products. There was a bust stop right at the corner with free bus services all over the town. Parking just in front was also quite cheap compared to other places. Highly recommend!

Holiday in Engelberg

What an amazing place to stay! Me and my family rent 3 of their unit, all of them are really clean and feel welcoming! The host is really fast to respond any of our request, including a little problem that we had during the first night. So if you are travelling to engelberg either by urself or with your family, please do not hositate to consider this place as your option as they will provide you a very great experience from the moment you check in until you check out!

Cozy and wonderful.

The host left a cake for us when we arrived. This solved our trouble of getting breakfast for next morning. Cozy house. It has a fully equipped kitchen, and we made sandwiches for the trip up the mountains and also made dinner once. There is a big sofa and the mountain view was fantastic. The house was very quiet, and we were just worried that we were a rant. There is a laundry place. Car park is just behind the house. Restaurants and supermarkets are just within walking distance.

You need to learn how to access the house. It took us a while to understand. You will be laughing at your dumbness once you get it. The kitchen is small as there is a dining table there. There is only a standing space between the sink and the table. The bunk bed is too low, so my son chose to sleep on the sofa instead, the sofa is big and comfy too. You need to key passcode to access the laundry as well. No shoes allowed in the house; it keeps the house clean. There are house shoes provided. Although I wrote these, these are just minor issues. I love this place and it is really ideal for your winter vacation.

The property was super clean and well located within Engelberg. We had 2 apartments- a one bedroom and a two bedroom, and both were immaculate. It was around 300m to the supermarket and not too far from the cable car to Brunni. The communication was great.

The 2 bedroom was slightly small- to the point that it became painful to move around with 4 people without crashing into each other. The app they use to check in had some issues, although they were very prompt in fixing the issues and the communication was great. The trash management was a bit difficult - the bins were locked outside…

We stay at a great apartment. It was well equipped - with all the kitchen appliances, coffee machine, washing machine, etc. The kids even had toys and books for them. It was clean and quiet. The apartment is very well located - just beside the parking lot and the free shuttle stop. The team was excellent - we communicated via the mobile app, and they helped us with everything.

The apartment was ready a bit late - 30 mins after the official check-in hour.

A great place to stay in beautiful Engleberg.

The location was fantastic as was the outdoor patio and the mountain view. The bed was comfortable and the apartment had everything I needed. The communication with the host was good, very fast and responsive, and I loved the welcome cake.
