The flat was very convenient for both the beach and the shops. Good facilities and the tv had lots of options.
The sofa could have been a little more comfy but it was adequate and didn’t spoil the experience.

Very convenient
No door hooks or anywhere to hang towels- the aider that was provided was great for drying clothes when we got caught in the storm but I would have expected to see somewhere for us to hang all our bath towels

The lock box was just where you parked your car outside the property. You were in walking distance to the main beach and promenade (literally 2 mins walk). The shops and restaurants also a few minutes walk. The property was clean and had everything you required for the stay.
My only comment would be the stairs, we were on the second floor (top floor) and the stairs were a bit steep for my elderly mother to handle. But she did manage with help from myself. Next time we will make sure we book a ground floor apartment.

Lovely location very close to the beach and town centre. We had an issue with the lights in the twin room not working but someone came out to look at It within an hour. Unfortunately it needed an electrion which couldn't be straight away which is understandable on Easter weekend but the owner is lovely and made sure we had plenty of lamps so it wasn't dark in there and kept us updated with when the electrician would come and fix it. We enjoyed the puzzles when the weather was bad (although there are a few missing pieces.
The flat was well presented and had everything we needed, it is fairly small compared to some places we have stayed but bigger than staying in a static caravan. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers and still had enough room.
It's really useful to have a parking space and not have to worry about finding somewhere to park.
We found it difficult to use the hob at first. It's induction so it could be user error as we are used to hobs you just turn a knob and they are on. You need to turn it on and adjust the temperature, once the pan is in the right place the number stops flashing and it's working but if the number is still flashing it's not working. We were not entirely sure the Tefal frying pans worked with the hob as we couldn't get them right and the other frying pan worked straight away.

Two flights of stairs to get to the flat. I have a bad hip and back. So it was a bit of a struggle. Another time I would request a first floor flat.

Location great but of no benefit to us as we had to leave.
The entire flat had heavy thick black mould around the windows. This triggered allergies in my daughter and she had a massive flare up of Asthma and Eczema. It was impossible for her to remain at the property. I had to rearrange my plans for the following day to meet the cleaner and see if i he could solve the problem,. It was clear this was a long standing issue and could not be dealt with with a quick wipe down as the entire flat was full of mould spores. We had to relocate to another flat owned by owners. Also unable to use cooking facilities as lots of pans/pots covered in rust and stored with grease on.

The apartment was so clean and tidy. We found lots of helpful touristic info brochures about the area and plenty of books as well. The beds were very comfortable. But the most fascinating was its location. We easily parked our car and figured out the keys, very close to the beaches, train station, high street, etc. We loved the place.

My high rating is based on two key factors, location and price. We stayed late June and early July, and the price was exceptional value for money. Whilst other properties were either fully booked or far higher priced, this was commercially brilliant, and what you’d call the proverbial no-brainier. Location wise, it was not far from the small banjo pier on the public beach, and easily walkable for my 80 year old folks to the beach, to town and to the pier & back.
Other things liked was that the property had its own parking space, as my father doesn’t like leaving his Lexus on the road. The apartment was equipped with everything you need, from washing machine, iron with good ironing board & shirt sleeve board, double oven/grill, microwave, fridge freezer, wifi router and free view televisions. The beds were firm and comfortable, and it has everything that a double the price apartment has. The toaster made excellent equally done toast.
Previous reviewers have highlighted that the kettle leaks. In deed, IF you leave water in it overnight it does, but emptying chalky hard water from a kettle is what some people do. The apartment block front door was a bit sticky if it was locked, and needed both hands to fiddle it open. And the external Key-box black pull down switch was broken and so to obtain and replace the key at the beginning & end of the holiday required a bit of fiddling too. Bath sink plus that should push down and up, needs trial & error too.
The above are minor and very picky. The fact is that price and location is what this apartment is all about. But I highlight to the owner as a new kettle, and fixing the two other small items will make this review box empty.

Couldn't ask for a better location or flat, easy for the teens to get to the beach or the shops. Fully equipped and very comfy. We really enjoyed our stay

Really great apartment. Easy to find with personal parking spot right outside the front door. Well equipped. Beds comfy and bathroom great. Very fluffy big towels provided. Very close to the train station, town centre and beach front (all within a 5 min walk) Lots of cafes in the area so plenty to chose from. Arcades on the seafront has machines for 10p and 20p which is a great price. Hours of fun spent in there.
Not much we didn't like really. A few small snagging issues which have been fed back directly to the property (kettle leaked if left full and no washing up liquid or handwash provided) but overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

Small for a family with teenagers (better if you have smaller children).
Mostly clean but then oddly dirty - a rotting tupperware and pot, food crumbs inside drawers, unclean around the edges of the bathroom. Also, no vacuum to clean up the inevitable sand, just a dustpan and brush.

Location is perfect and the flat was just right in terms of size and having everything we needed.
There were some sweets wrappers on the floor in the children's room so the cleaners missed those (the previous tenants clearly had some good midnight snacks) but apart from that everything was very good.
