We loved the location by the river. Lovely to look out to the river and also have the balcony to sit on. Shops near drive to. Folders left on table explaining walks and directions to local supermarkets.

Quiet location but within easy walking distance to Whitby etc. Very clean, comfortable and warm.
We had trouble with the lack of hot water. The boiler worked in every regard other than hot water for washing up or bathing which was impossible. Thank goodness there was a shower!

Well equipped & comfortable.
Bathroom needs a bit of work although perfectly functional. Extractors didn't work and loo flush not very good.
