Casa Gilda Positano

This property made our stay in Positano feel like a dream come true with the views it provided. It had all of the amenities we needed and the host was helpful in all aspects of our trip and would answer any questions we had including how to get to places. Would come back and stay in a heart beat!

Everything was perfect!

The terrace with unobstructed views over the ocean and Positano were just stunning. Clean, well equipped apartment and comfortable bed. Regular food gifts from Gilda next door were a lovely, unexpected touch.

To get into town you need to walk approx 20mins along a narrow road with a fair amount of traffic. There is a bus but these can be crowded at peak times. It was no problem for us but might be for some people.

Beautiful, peaceful property with lovely views and a relaxing Positano atmosphere. It felt private and was a nice place to unwind.

We truly loved everything about our stay. The view from the balcony is absolutely magical-you have the sea right in front of you, with a beautiful view over the entire center of Positano. It was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the host, Antonella, and her sister. They are both incredibly kind and friendly, and the hospitality was very professional from start to finish. Antonella is also extremely helpful, attentive, and genuinely wants you to have the best possible stay. Whatever you need, you simply ask, and she will do her best to make it happen. We also had the pleasure of meeting her grandmother, or Nonna in Italian. She kindly offered us coffee and cookies, which was such a lovely and memorable gesture. Although we couldn’t communicate with her in English, you could immediately feel that she is a wonderful person with a truly kind heart. And don’t let the distance from the center put you off. It is not far to walk, and there is also a bus stop close to the accommodation, making it very easy to get around. We would absolutely recommend staying here. Wonderful hosts, an amazing view, and a genuinely warm and welcoming atmosphere. We would happily come back!
