we loved staying in Monterpertuso - it is a beautiful area and we were able to get down easily using the bus and also walking. the property has a fabulous outdoor eating area and all the utensils were there.
a kettle would have been much appreciated as we had to boil water on the stove

Breakfast was not included, but the private garden with ocean view was wonderful. Location was very nice, especially if you prefer to avoid the noise of busy tourist towns. Two restaurants and a grocery store are within easy walking distance. Location is also near starting point for Path of the Gods hike. If you have any discomfort or limitations climbing stairs, this may not be the place for you.
Distance from main town of Positano was a blessing, but riding the bus to and from town was a serious inconvenience. We ended up forking out more cash than we planned on for taxis each day.

Everything went well. We didn't realize it was so far from Sorento and Positano. There are so many steps to get to the Villa
