Shipwreck Cottage

The cottage is beautifully maintained, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. We loved the character of the cottage, the charming antique ornaments, which make it feel so special and full of history. Cottage provided fresh towels a well-equipped kitchen, excellent Wi-Fi, the extra thoughtful touches such as the air fryer, iron, hairdryer and handwash was provided. Welcome treats of milk, bread and chocolate cookies was a lovely surprise and a very kind gesture after our journey. The children loved the cosy feel of the cottage and enjoyed the relaxed, homely atmosphere. We had a wonderful time exploring the area, including the beach, Muncaster Castle and the steam engine. Millom itself was a lovely, quiet town, peaceful atmosphere. The local chip shop was excellent, and everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming.

Bedroom with double bed, lights weren't working, but lamps were provided. Going up the stairs was noisy and the stairs creeks alot. But did not effect our stay.
