Bryn Celyn

The kitchen was very large and well equipped. The bedroom we used was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Good sized, pretty garden with a lovely lawn space, which our dog appreciated, and an attractive seating area.

The only criticism was that the showers could do with updating.

We have spent a week at Bryn Celyn and absolutely loved our time here. And felt completely at ease and relaxed. We met John the host on the first day, he lives close by and was very friendly and welcoming to what use to be his family home. The home still gives that feeling of loved and lived in. 5 bedrooms all decent sizes. (Loads of space for clothes and items you take with you). 2 lounge room areas (one called the snug) and a wonderful size kitchen diner space (fully equipment). The snug was our favourite space to sit and relax after a day of exploring the area. Downstairs shower was lovely and an upstairs bathroom had a lovely deep bath. The home was lovely, warm and cosy considering how big it is. Plenty of books and games available in the home as well. The garden is a lovely size, sadly we didn’t use this as was too cold to sit out there, but plenty of space to sit and relax and a football goal for children to play football. And a brick built bbq. Parking available at the home and pets allowed to come with you as well. Fabulous place to stay with family or bigger groups or as just a couple or small group if you want plenty of space. Location was perfect for exploring between local attractions and beauty spots in both England and wales. We enjoyed Llangollen - horse and barge and the Llangollen rail trip (start from Corwen as easier to park and can then explore Llangollen). Whilst there visit The market on the fringe amazing local art works there available to purchase. Shrewsbury prison tour, Whittington Castle (must watch most haunted before visiting both these places)and British Iron works to name a few. Thank you so much John and Carol we will return when we come back to wales in that’s area.

Good size, well equipped kitchen. Good size bedrooms. Good garden.

Decor a little tired and dated.

Great location, plenty spaces for a group of people to spend a weekend the together. All rooms are clean and the beds are comfy.

Honestly, we couldn’t find the recycle bin
