The host was very attentive, and the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. I contacted him during my stay and received a very quick response. The location is excellent, being directly opposite Atocha Station, which makes it incredibly convenient. This accommodation is perfect for anyone needing easy access to train connections or travelling in transit.
I arrived on my own, and although the entrance was dark and quiet, the area felt safe thanks to the nearby restaurants and constant foot traffic. People in the neighbourhood were friendly and welcoming.
The walls are quite thin, and I could hear guests next door talking late at night. However, the host had clearly stated the quiet hours, so this was due to other guests not following the house rules.

Great location with close proximity to the train station, restaurants and the hop on/hop off bus.
A little cramped when having to use the sofa bed.
