The cabin was very clean and spacious. The kitchenette was thoughtfully stocked and well equipped. The hide-a-bed couch was very comfortable. We appreciated meeting Disa.

Very clean and nice cottage. Bed very comfortable.Ideal for a couple os days to relax still having places to explore around. Some comments say you ear cars but inside you ear nothing. Some farm animals come visit you and Póstur the dog is super friendly. Dísa our just was great she showed us the place and we felt welcomed and as if we were at our home!!

Our stay here was one of the absolute highlights of our Iceland Ring Road trip. From the moment we arrived, Disa made us feel genuinely welcome. The accommodation was cosy, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from fresh farm eggs and tomatoes to rice, baked beans, tea, coffee, and cooking essentials. It felt less like a rental and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. If you’re driving Iceland’s Ring Road and are looking for more than just a place to sleep, this is the perfect stop. It’s a chance to slow down, experience authentic Icelandic farm life, and create memories that will stay with you long after your trip ends.
