About this house rental

Incredible views at the recently remolded HARBOR BLUFF HOME. Complete renovation finished in June 2020. Situated on the bluffs with amazing views of the Harbor, Victoria, San Juan Islands and Mt. Baker. Located on a quiet dead end street with plenty of parking behind the house. Short walk to downtown restaurants, shops and the Victoria ferry terminal. This is our family home, and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

This house is an Approx. 2200 sq foot custom home with high end finishes. Guests are welcome to use all the house excluding owners closets and 1/2 of the garage. Enjoy the patio off kitchen with Weber Gas barbecue and Table. We do ask you to clean BBQ and return cushions to deck box when departing. There are two master bedrooms with king beds, one downstairs with attached on suite bathroom. The second large master bedroom with ocean views is upstairs. The third bedroom has a queen bed. Both bathrooms are downstairs. Both have showers, there is no bathtub in the house. Den area has a Sofa Bed and doors that can close for privacy.
Loaded with all amenities that you will need for your stay including: all new kitchen appliances, new full size washer & dryer and High Speed Wi-Fi.
2 Cable TVs - one in living room and one in down stairs Master Bedroom.

We are located on a quiet dead end street. There is a walking trail to the downtown area(1/2 mile from our house) where there are wonderful shops, restaurants and the Victoria Ferry Terminal. The Entrance to the Olympic National Park is only 2.2 miles from the house.

About this house rental

Great house in a great location. Plenty of room for my family to spread out. We enjoyed the views of the harbor.

The house is not as big as the pictures make it seem, but it is much nicer and better furnished than the pictures show. We loved the location and the view from the living room windows. It worked perfectly for three generations of our family. The kitchen was very well equipped. Whatever you might want to make, they had the equipment for it plus several of the typical ingredient you might want like vinegars, oils, etc.

This house is literally perfect. Plenty of space, good sized bedrooms, great social space, beautiful view! Our kids loved the ping pong table and the kitchen was great for preparing for hikes and making and enjoying breakfast and dinner. Great location, we went to Olympic everyday and the drive was easy!

We loved Harbor Bluff House. It’s a wonderful, spacious and recently update home with views as advertised. Stunnng. Loved the ship activity on the water all day every day. The furnishings were top notch, as were all amenities. Hosts were 100% responsive. It was our first time to the area and we could have filled more days with activities. Basket of pamphlets was a big help to direct us plus the guest binder was well organized and provided all information we could want. The neighborhood isn’t easily walkable but traffic into town was a non issue. And parking easily available. Such as amazing part of the world. Thrilled to have chosen this property. We felt at home instantly.

The property was well maintained outside and in. Access to the property was easy. There was sweet welcome gift from the host. The kitchen was well appointed with items you would need to cook and clean up. There were even surplus items available like some seasonings, spices, condiments, The living room had ample seating for us to sit and visit the couches were so comfortable we often gravitated here throughout the day when not out exploring. The bathrooms were well lighted and sparkling clean with small amenitites like bath soap, shampoo\conditioner, makeup remover, etc.. The bedrooms were very comfortable too. Everyone slept well on very comfortable mattresses. There was a barbecue but we were there in winter and chose not to do much out of doors. The location was nice only a a few minute drive to the main street for ample choice of eateries. We also visited the national park just down the road. The ferry to Victoria was undergoing repairs so we didn't embark on the short journey but it would be another reason to stay in the future. Our host quickly responded to any inquiries we had. This home away from home made our girls weekend a very pleasant stay.

We flew in from out of state and it was really helpful to have such a stocked kitchen. The views were wonderful and everyone loved the ping pong table! I’ve stayed in other vacation homes. This one is the very best. I wish we had stayed a full week. The property is incredibly clean. The host left thoughtful items, including hiking snacks and a bottle of wine. Wonderful bedrooms and linens. The house is very quiet. Our group of 5 adults appreciated the privacy. The house is convenient to the adorable town of Port Angeles and Olympic National Park. We haven’t stopped talking about it.

Jen’s house was beautiful. There wasn’t a thing I would change. If I could give it a 10 ++ I would. The welcome wine and snacks were a nice surprise when we arrived. The view was amazing!! You look out over the harbor and get to see big ships pass by. Jen has binoculars and a web site you can check to see info about each boat. The house was clean, beds comfortable and the kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook at home. Short walk to downtown and a great place to stay to catch the ferry to Victoria. We would definitely come back to this fantastic house.

This was the perfect spot for our family on the first leg of our PNW road trip. The house was clean and decorated well. We all really enjoyed the view and watching all the ships. We also had fun having a few family ping pong matches! Jen, was the perfect host!

We stayed here three nights as our base for seeing the northern parts of Olympic National Park. The house was fantastic for our family of 4. All the updates are very thoughtful, the house was immaculately clean and the kitchen has everything a regular cook could want. We will definitely be back for our next visit to the northern peninsula.

Our family rented this home for the week while we were exploring Olympic national park and surrounding areas. We were amazed at how beautiful and homey it was. First off, the owner did a great job remodeling and decorating the home. We specially loved the large windows in the living room overlooking the water. The bright and open kitchen was great for preparing family meals…we used the grill a few times as well. The fridge and pantry had several condiments for us to use too! We loved coming home to this house each day. After dinner we would have family ping pong contest which were a lot of fun. The owner had several helpful signs around the property and a binder with info on the house, things to do nearby and various restaurant menus, which was very helpful. If we ever come back to Port Angeles, we would definitely rent this house again.

The house is in a quiet, clean neighborhood and has the MOST AMAZING view of the water. Our favorite thing was watching the ships go in & out and host provided binoculars which were perfect. We even had a small family of deer walk by to take in the view! The house was clean, well decorated, and had lots of modern appliances. Lots of natural light from the big windows and skylights which we loved. There was even a partial view of the mountains from the side patio so a little bit of both mountains & ocean. The WIFI was fast and there were never issues with it dropping out. Perfect location for the town. Easy to walk or take a quick drive to downtown area. Host provided some nice travel amenities and recommendations of things to do/places to eat. It was just my husband & I getting away to disconnect from our stressful jobs. It was the perfect place for us. We will definitely stay here again when we come back and will recommend to friends/family. Thank you so much, Jen!

My husband and I recently stayed 5 nights at this quality home. We used it as a central location for hiking in Olympic National Park/Hurricane Ridge and biking the Discovery Trail. It was the perfect spot for easy access to both, not to mention very close to Port Angeles coffee shops and restaurants. It's also an easy drive to Lake Crescent and a couple hours to the Hoh Rain Forest - so much to do! The home is super clean and bright with top notch furnishings throughout. Kitchen, bath and private patio were all well-stocked with everything we needed. Bedrooms were very comfortable and neighborhood is quiet. And, by the way, the view of the Sound out the front is absolutely stunning - could have easily spent the entire time staring out the window! The garage has a nice ping pong table, which was quite fun even though I suffered a crushing 11-1 defeat. Next time... Great host, easy access, quality home in a perfect location for accessing the wide range of activities on the peninsula. Highly recommended and would stay again in a heartbeat!

This is one of the nicest rental homes we’ve stayed in (out of many). It is bright, cheery, well-furnished and well-stocked. Every detail has been considered. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Kitchen is fully stocked including spices, condiments, and lots of extras. Bathrooms are super clean with plenty of towels and toiletries. Beds are comfy, tons of closet/dresser space and individual temp controls. Loved the view out of the front picture window! The neighborhood is not fancy, but this home is one of the nicest. Close to grocery, restaurants, and a great hub for exploring Olympic National Park. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

This property was amazing. The house had been fully remodeled and is lovely, cozy and quiet. The view of the harbor from the living room was enjoyed by all. It’s a great property for families and has a nice open feel to it. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very modern. We had parking in the back (so we didn’t block the great view in the front). The beds were all comfortable and we took advantage of the washer and dryer while there. The house is a great home base for traveling around Olympic National Park. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting the area and would gladly stay again. Just lovely! As other reviewers have put this house is fantastic! It is clean, updated, bright and cheery. The space has a great design with multiple useable rooms for family to be together or spread out when needed. The ping-pong table was an absolute hit! For those unfamiliar with Port Angeles, as we were before this trip, the rest of this review is for you. When driving into the city and the neighborhood we were honestly a little disappointed and concerned. Port Angeles isn't a quaint touristy town like many of the beautiful towns around Seattle. The city reminded me of the years I spent visiting run down, rust belt towns in IN, OH, MI and PA. DON'T LET THAT DETER YOU!!! While the town does leave much to be desired it has its perks. We found the shipping yard interesting to watch as logs and containers were moved around on massive ships. We went to the farmer's market and LOVED the local merchandise! Feiro Marine Life center was really interesting for the family. Most importantly, the town makes exploring Olympic National Park a breeze. Using Port Angeles as a hub we explored from Hoh Rain Forest to Hurricane Ridge and everything in between. We loved the mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and beaches. Port Angeles was a perfect hub for this. In summary. The house is PERFECT! The town, while not perfect, is in the perfect location. Enjoy!!

This home is just perfect! Being on top of the bluff and looking out over the water every morning to see the sunrise is wonderful. Location is great being close to food and restaurants. Close to the 101 so it's easy to get to ONP. Beds were extremely comfortable. Bathrooms are well stocked with supplies. Kitchen was perfectly laid out and easy to cook in. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own cozy place. Can't wait to stay here again!
