The space
Welcome to our 2300sqft spacious, bright and very comfortable home after a long day of exploring the Olympic peninsula. It's located in a quiet neighborhood 0.4 miles (2 mins drive) from the Olympic national park entrance.
The home boasts of high ceiling in the main floor living space making the space very bright and cheerful. We have 2 living spaces, perfect to entertain large parties of up to 11 guests. The house is equipped with central heating, fast wi-fi, 70" smart TV, fully stocked kitchen for those who love cooking, large ceiling with bight natural light, outdoor space, BBQ, outdoor seating and games, hammock, coffee and tea station, kids entertainment with playroom area games and toys, board and card games and puzzles for adults, indoor trampoline, Amazon Alexa for playing music, bathing supplies, partial water views from upstairs bedroom with the ship and ferry traffic in the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Port Angeles Harbor. We have parking for up to 4 cars in the driveway and additional parking on street. You can spot deer in the front yard on most days. There is an assortment of different kind of teas and coffee.
Master Suite - On the main floor, we have a calm master which has a king bed with plush bedding, night stands, a couch to lounge on, ensuite bathroom with double vanity and a walk-in closet with a pack and play, luggage rack, blackout curtains and a full length mirror.
Bedroom 2 - Located on the top floor, this bedroom has a queen bed, blackout curtains, luggage rack, extra bedding, a console that can double as a desk and a chair
Bedroom 3 -Located on the top floor, this bedroom has king bed, blackout curtains, Amazon Alexa supported light changing table lamps, partial ocean views, luggage racks, extra blankets and a chair
Both bedroom 2 and 3 share a full bath and a full length mirror upstairs.
Laundry room - Washer/dryer and all washing supplies, iron and iron board
Kitchen - Pots and pans, kid utensils/plates/bowls, blender, air fryer, Insta pot, steamer, air fryer, silverware and dinnerware for 11 people, mixing pots, huge range of spices, rolling pin, strainer, baking supplies, flour, sugar, oil, wine opener, pizza cutter and a first aid kit.
Living space 1 - Top grain leather couch, lounge chairs, 70" smart TV, Amazon Alexa, fireplace, huge Italian marble statement coffee table, fireplace, books about Olympic Peninsula
Living space 2 - Pull out sofa bed with a mattress topper, twin bed with a trundle, indoor trampoline, kids toys/games/puzzles
Outdoor space - Right off the dinning and kitchen we have outdoor seating, BBQ, hammock, bean bag toss games, lots of space to play, hangout and BBQ.
Garage - 2 car garage but you may park 1 car while the other space is used to tuck away some home supplies, BBQ, hammock , bean bag toss etc. while not in use

Wonderful experience on all fronts. Gigi, the owner was very communicative and clear and even accommodated us with a couple special requests. The house was very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed in the check-in process was flawless and easy.We loved how close the house is to the park entrance and the city of Port Angeles. One morning we woke up and had deer in the front yard. About as idyllic as stay as one could hope.

Hoping to give our three grands, my daughter and spouse an adventure in the PNW, our stay at Olympic Retreat was exactly that - an Olympic retreat! This home is conveniently located near the entrance to the National Park and made our daily excursions so accessible. Groceries were also in close proximity, and High Tide Seafood market offered some fresh salmon to cook at home. The home was immaculate as described, generous supply of towels, “real” paper towels and TP, comfy beds and clean pillows. Layout of the home was perfect, very quiet for the seven of us in our sleeping spaces. So many options to hike, but be sure to take in the local Spit (ask the regulars for directions), Hurricane Ridge (on a weekday), Lake Crescent loops, Marymere Falls, Solduc Falls, to name a few. Enjoy!! And if something is amiss, Gigi is very responsive to questions/needs.
